In regards to the Constitution of Asgardia, it was built on the suggestions if the community at that time and much hard work was out in by all parties in putting it together. However there have been quite a few petitions that have been started by Asgardians to enact changes but they did not receive the requisite signatures for them to be considered.

Hi Mark! I will try to address some of your concerns here. When Asgardia first started as a website we did call those who signed up citizens. However, legally that wasn't the correct legal definition. Parliament did address it with the Citizenship law that was passed in November 2018. Asgardia is free to join however if you wish to take oart in thepolitical aspects such as voting, spearheading amendments, running for office then you would have to become a Resident.

Perhaps regulation and market already in place in a tiny country by population discourages economically viable innovation that reduces emission without lowering the quality of life. The speaker in the link focuses on the current administration in Australia. I know for a fact people choice in a democratic nation liveby the mediocrity of its people for a living. The collective that is society seeks out ease, good feeling, and stability. Technical solution to emission reduction in Australia does not meet any of those quality in affordability in practice. Also it does not create new industry thereby value in the economy. A person sweating between 9 to 5 in trade or self-repeating tasks 5 to 7 days a week, it's unlikely to pay more for heater in winter over ideas and vision alone. A collective which is made of mostly that person, it has been burned once by fire that is the Carbon Tax, and it's now afraid of fire. If Australia stops exporting coal and other resource that contributes to carbon emission. What would it do to keep good debt from turning bad debt? The two things the state are good at - raising taxes and writing law on the cost of freedom. To make up for the missing profit in case if resource exportation is ceased, a state does what it is good at. Unless it sales anything else free of carbon emission that earn just as much or more. There is one solution I know of, which will take the time of one generation to achieve --- to focus on science education, not the lip-picking of scientific facts for political gain, but the number of scientifically educated individuals in the field of physics, chemistry, and engineering in the country. It could be achieved by doing things differently; early education teaches the ability to self-teach, new science fare encourages the use of 3D printer in every school across the country, and to set up award of actual money or tax break on people that are 18 years old to such an extend that it would inspire a dedication in live. If there is one small nation to look up to and learn from, on the matter scientific achievement, that is Israel. Singapore is dying of old age, suicidal collective is to be avoided. It's not just my opinion, Elon Musk pointed out we need more people too.
