Живу вообще в деревне и уезжать не хочу) Что до взаимной ненависти... Не знаю как там эстонцы, не встречался с ними ни разу. Лично мне они безразличны. Лишь бы ко мне не лезли . )) А вообще ИМХО всех равнять не дело . В любой стране много разных людей и все со своим мнением.

While I have no problem with anyone having any belief system (I feel people need belief systems and i also feel everyone has one regardless of how "moral" others may think it is or isn't) and while I believe personal or vicious attacks on other people's belief systems shows narrow mindedness and lack of education, I do feel that constructive criticism and discussion is critical to not using our belief system to feel we are the only one who understands life/universe/etc or that we are somehow better than others due to our "understanding". Beliefs are personal and while they can be shared and may help others, they probably shouldn't be shared in a way that implies others should become believers of our own belief systems. I also think it is a good idea to study a great deal of philosophy before proselytizing our particular belief system to others. I personally think the trans-humanism movement is interesting and puts forth some good points, however it also (as does every belief system) appears to hold some vague and intriguing hypothesis which are derived from very very old ideas and not from scientific research per se. A short perusal of historical texts would also appear to show it could also be true that an old saying of "there is nothing new under the sun" (my paraphrasing) may just be correct. You have said that trans-humanism is not a religion however the adherents do kind of seem to act very similar to how religious adherents spread a dogmatic approach to life. Please don't misunderstand, I am not criticizing or attacking your personal beliefs (that is not helpful or constructive and, as I said above, I think a belief system is necessary in life). I am simply pointing out some areas which perhaps could be taken into consideration so the trans-humanist approach is not so dogmatic and is not proselytized like a religion (I am sure you don't want that to be the approach people feel you are taking). It might also be helpful to look at a prominent group within the roman catholic church which believes in creation by evolution. I think you may find a lot of trans-humanist philosophy within the writings of those quite well educated people. Philosophy is a wonderful thing in that generally no one philosophy contains the final solutions or answers. A wide study of all ideas and philosophies is a challenging and rewarding experience.
