Il transumanesimo che intendiamo mostrare mirare ad accelerare l'evoluzione autodiretta ampliando ed andando oltre un orientamento etico e culturale innovativo, le possibilità tecnologiche a beneficio globale e con finalità umanitarie.Il transumanista è quindi colui che si ribella all'ordine naturale per controllarlo e plasmarlo, attraverso mezzi tecnici e morali, al fine di massimizzare il benessere di ogni essere senziente ed emancipare l'umanità dai vincoli biologici e naturali; di certo, nella prospettiva transumanista gli individui sono strumenti per la sicurezza.

L'uomo di cultura deve quindi costituire l'avanguardia dell'umanità che combatte per la propria e altrui libertà.

Buongiorno a tutti. Non è ancora giunta l'ufficialità, non è ancora scritto nero su bianco. Ma faccio il positivo, l'inguaribile ottimista e ringrazio di essere stato eletto. Da cultore della fantascienza, letteraria, televisiva e cinematografica, far parte di una comunità "spaziale" non può che rendermi felice. Ma quelli che sono i cittadini di Asgardia, almeno la maggior parte di loro, sembrano mossi da intenti, sani concreti propositi di costruire un luogo con lo sguardo rivolto al futuro. Un futuro in cui il sapere, scientifico ma non solo, riavranno nuovamente la totale dignità che in questo periodo qualcuno sembra voler portare via loro. Il sapere che, insieme al rispetto per gli altri, verso ogni individuo e cultura, saranno la guida per il percorso di sviluppo di Asgardia. Troppo serioso, cervellotico il post? Anche l'episodio pilota di Star Trek fu considerato tale ma non fermò Gene Roddenberry dal portare avanti il proprio sogno, la propria idea di futuro. Che sia di buon auspicio.

Good morning Asgardia,

It will not the first time that I will use Star Trek and its philosophy to explain my idea of Asgardia. For it's future, Asgardia needs money? I have not an answer in this moment but Star Trek give us one.

Manu Saadia,  in his book "Trekonomics", says this: “It’s made clear and emphasized several times in the course of the show that the Federation does not have money. You have Captain Picard saying, ‘We’ve overcome hunger and greed, and we’re no longer interested in the accumulation of things.'

Saadia is fascinated by the idea of a society in which material wealth has become so abundant that possessing it no longer holds any appeal. In such a world the only way to gain status would be by cultivating talent and intellect.

He says: "What really makes sense in the Star Trek universe and Star Trek society is to compete for reputation. What is not abundant in Star Trek’ s universe is the captain’s chair.”

He points to technologies like GPS and the internet as models for how we can set ourselves on the path to a Star Trek future.

“If we decide as a society to make more of these crucial things available to all as public goods, we’re probably going to be well on our way to improving the condition of everybody on Earth,” he says.

In 1941 Asimov published his first story about robots and his great idea and insight was that the robots are not going to be our enemies or our doom as a society, the way robots were usually portrayed, as Frankensteins. The robots will liberate us, and so Asimov was trying to figure out a world where human labor will no longer necessary for survival.

Saadia says, in his book, that is something you see throughout Star Trek , much more so in The Next Generation than in the original series. In The Next Generation you have these incredible machines that will make anything for you on the spot and on demand—the replicators—and in a way the replicator is a metaphor for universal automation the way it is described in Asimov’s robot stories.”

But he also warns that technology alone won’t create a post-scarcity future. If we’re not careful we could end up like the greedy Ferengi , who charge money for the use of their replicators rather than making them available to everyone.

He says: “The Federation's citizens are consistent with the economic circumstances in which they live. Imagine yourself growing up in a society where there is never any want or need or financial insecurity of any sort. You will be a very different person. You will be absolutely uninterested in conspicuous consumption. … You will probably be interested in things of a higher nature—the cultivation of the mind, education, love, art, and discovery. And so these people are very stoic in that sense, because they have no worldly interests that we today could relate to.

So, it's possible this future for Asgardia?

Buona visione

Per far diventare il sogno di  Asgardia una realtà abbiamo prima di tutto bisogno di una economia tale  che possa permettere lo sviluppo delle infrastrutture necessarie  all'organizzazionee  all'espansione di questa nazione. Sucessivamente  dobbiamo rendere utile Asgardia ai suoi cittadini fornendo in maniera  gratuita e libera istruzione di alto livello, assicurando  contemporaneamente un'ccupazione all'interno dello Stato a coloro che  possono offrire questo servizio. La crescita economica deve essere  finalizzata alla ricerca scientifica e alla costruzione di quegli  apparati necessari per l'espansione di Asgardia, garantendone quindi il  riconoscimetno come realtà sovrana a tutti gli effetti.

Come  parlamentare, io mi impegnerò a promuovere questi tre semplici ma  fondamentali punti e molti altri che definirò in futuro. Io credo in  Asgardia e ne riconosco l'enorme potenzialità. Immagino un futuro in cui  Asgardia è pienamente riconosciuta come nazione sovrana e in cui essa è  nuovo faro di speranza per il genere umano.

Sono  uno studente di Liceo Scientifico (opzione Scienze Applicate) con una  spiaccata passione per le tutte le scienze, sia naturali che applicate.  Studierò Fisica Teorica all'università e mi impegnerò a diventare un  ricercatore, spinto da un'insaziabile curiosità e mosso dalla mia voglia  di mettermi in gioco. Credo di poter dare molto ad Asgardia e sono  certo che riuscirò a dimostrarlo.

Spazio

Lo spazio è la migliore macchina del progresso per una società globalizzata. Nulla è più stimolante per un bambino di un racconto su un viaggio verso distanti mondi alieni. E' la nostra natura, noi siamo questo: esploratori, scienziati, pensatori. Abbiamo esaurito le aree da sfruttare e abbiamo distrutto, nella nostra cieca follia, immensi patrimoni naturali. L'universo, quindi, è l'unica strada che possiamo percorrere se vogliamo evitare l'autoannientamento. Più spazio, più vita, Asgardia.

Space

Space is the most efficient way of making progress for a global civilization. Nothing is more ispiring for a child than stories telling about incredible journey around distant alien worlds. It is our nature, we are this: explorers, scientist, thinkers. We ran out of lands here down on Earth and we destroyed, in our blink madness, beautiful masterpieces of nature. The universe is the only way  to avoid self-destruction. More space, more life, Asgardia.
