Resident at long last! As a teacher of English in rural Japan you might imagine that I make a fair amount of money. Not so! Japan’s economy is teetering on the edge of collapse, as always, and so wages here are are rather stagnant, especially for a foreigner. Which is why paying for residency (finally!) has taken so long. Not a nice admission, I suppose, that of being rather poor, but there you have it. I still have, and have always had, faith in Asgardia as an actual working nation but, more importantly, I have more faith in the people who believe in Asgardia as I do. A community is only as strong as its people and Asgardians must be among the most hopeful group of people the world over. Asgardia brings hope. Thanks for reading.
