I grew up in the '70s when we visited the moon, and the '80s when we thought about going to live in space. Somehow our dreams all got screwed up and yes there are many causes. But the problem was, how to get to space and build a community out there. Many years have passed, and we still are not a planetary civilisation, and I feel time is running out ! Lets discuss the logistics of going to space, and how to create the infrastructure on all the earths continents to make sure that travel to and from space will just be a safe as we learned to fly, like we did a hundred years ago! Remember it was only in 1927 that we learned how to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a plane. Lets make sure our plans for travelling up and down to space can be realistic and affordable bij 2027 !

I love to listen to music, create music and explore new music! I've uploaded some old videos with tracks I've created with friends. Finally I've decided to become a resident of Asgardia. I don't know if that will be of any use, but I've started supporting all causes that gives me a good feeling. Asgardia is one of them, because of of the good intentions to create a community for like-minded people. Also Asgardia has a vision for the longterm, something I miss very much in the real world. The 100 dollar fee also kept me from my decision,⁣ but I realize there are costs involved in making the community available to us. Hey everybody, Not sure if this has been discussed in the past, is any Asgardian working on the broad Web3 scene? Is this kind of tech something that's interesting this community?

I've noticed that during the process to become a resident, you don't get any information about the costs, which appears to be 100 Euro; but this is only indicated in the last step. The actual fee is built into the payment form as a number you can not adjust. Before this final step the cost of this residence status is not mentioned anywhere. This just seems a bit insincere; correct me if I'm wrong though, perhaps it is mentioned somewhere and I just overlooked it. To me it would seem more fair if the website states the cost of this subscription, before people decide to click the button to actually apply for this. A hundred euros is not exactly cheap, but the way these costs a presented comes across like it's just a minor little step in the process of joining this organization. It's still a lot of money in my eyes and the page should have a section where you can see what you get and how much it will cost you. So, not only at the final stage of closing the deal; because that just feels like a bit of clever marketing. I think people would naturally decide that they want to join before they click the "Become a Resident" button, and therefor the 100 Euro fee should be disclosed at the first stage of application process; at least before people are required to tap the "join" button to continue. I hope I'm making sense here; it's not a major complaint, just something that bugged me a little after checking it out. I wasn't expecting to be surprised by any fees, though I guess you would need a paywall somewhere to make sure the people who are allowed more control and authority in this project; are really serious about it. The website should mention this fee at the first page people see when considering to apply for residence, instead of at the form where they finalize their decision. Thanks for hearing me out. Peace!
