TMRO (a youtube show) has just hosted a leading representative of Asgardia to talk about it. I have recently been watching TMRO, in addition to "What da Math" some sci-show, Scott Manly, Tim Dodd, (unrelated, linus tech tips, other pc reviews, ibxtoycat, intro to programming videos) .

I just found a petition for the creation of a free public institute of education for Asgardia, its old, did not gain enough support to stay live, but I actually think this is a magnificent idea.

I didnt have to pay the 2019 100 euros, as I was an early signatory. Well,, how many people are going to make it to orbit in this place anyway? Isnt this just a fancy enthusiast club??

I sometimes wish there were more opportunities to participate in Asgardia, but what is there, really???

My favorite hobby/pastime/obsession is Quadcopter FPV. Sometimes I upload dvr videos of my flights, sometimes I post in enthusiast facebook groups, and sometimes I link my flights in the facebook group for Asgardia off topic fun.

I became interested in quadcopter FPV after a short hobby with learning arduino, trying to make a quadruped robot, and finding out how affordable quadcopters could be, and how easy it is to set up FPV. Its been a lifetime since I started flying, and it has been my everything. Arduino, then quadcopters, make me very enthusiastic about imagining future RC robotics, and I sometimes wish to pursue more robotics, except I barely have time to fly around my work schedule.

I am also becoming more interested in space technology, and space interest such as Asgardia, and am thinking I will try to connect with Honolulu area Asgardians. I am usually active on facebook. I am more than excited to try to show off my quadcopters, although I am very very busy, and finding time will always be a challenge.

6/19/2017 I have not accepted the Asgardia constitution, and therefore am limited in what functions of the website I can use. Although I will read the constitution and consider it, I will probably be very hesitant to accept a constitution of any kind. I can't imagine that the constitution as is printed now will be acceptable for any persons who actually move to space and interact with the world from this imagined new nation. Will it be filled with corruption? Will it be a race to resource dominance, where war determines a superpower and leading culture? Will space be a harem for a battalion of ruthless tyrants? Of course it will be. We are wild animals, who will proliferate as bacteria do. How can a nation be safe from corruption without a killer to force our behavior?

6/19/2017 . I had previously found the Asgardia page, and signed up as well as submitting a flag idea. Today Asgardia was in the news on cnn's webpage, so I once again checked the page and found that my account was active, and that I am one of the 200+ thousand members cited in the article. I am very interested in working in space. Although it seems much more viable to use Earth's resources to produce space infrastructure, I am interested in mining resources elsewhere, and feel that I should be able to pursue such a career despite the obvious hurdles such as how long it will take us to actually initiate such an activity, and who will be selected to operate such an activity. This is the reason I signed up for the Asgardia page, in hopes that it might be an area where I might pursue such a career. I am a person who is not the celebrity of education or other areas of performance. I do not have money. I do not have references. I do not share in the culture around me, although I do believe very strongly in some lore. I do believe ancient humans did fly, for example lilith and zues, and I do believe that space is populous.
