Very excited to announce that I have submitted my candidacy to run for Mayor of Seattle in Asgardia. Seattle is a space city with a vibrant satellite industry representation and we also have Blue Origin. Plus, the Space Needle is a visible reminder of our city's past and future interest in Space. I have been a Seattle resident since 1998 and also have run the local chapter of the Mars Society since that time. I also run the Seattle Scrum Meetup and Networking for Nonprofits meetup series.

I want to see tech and innovative solutions blossom for the good of all Asgardians. So with that in mind I propose a contest. Putting my money where my mouth is. The 'Right to Home and Hovel' is a term I coined and have been waving around the internet for some time. It is the idea that - if you are a citizen of a nation you have an inalienable implied right to reside in that nation. If you did not reside in that nation you would not be a citizen. To be a resident you must 'have a permanent home in a particular place'. Therefore it is implied that the Right to Home and Hovel exists and it cannot be challenged lest the very concept of citizenship deteriorate into slavery and 'owned humans'. In this context when you acquire through purchase, inheritance, build or cobble, a home or hovel you have an inherent inalienable right to it that cannot be infringed upon. What is required from the government? Nothing. Simply do not infringe upon the homes and hovels of the people. What is infringement? Rent and / or Taxation of the home and hovel under threat of significant punishment, deposition, confiscation, reclamation, annexation or loss of liberty, etc. Kicking out homeless encampments, charging people with crimes for being 'vagrant', banning people from sleeping in tents, etc. are all infringements of the right to home and hovel.

I wonder like what is above the earth and planets what is below them? Bc you always see in shows the space ship either going to the right or to the left but never up or down. Is it bc it can't be measured has anyone tried? Like what would happen if we fired a space probe down? What would it reach?

I have been on the website and tried several key words here in the social part and so far ive just come up with HOW to becaome a resident nothing about how that would effect my life. My Citizen profile, this page CEASED TO EXIST for a number of hours, all my forum posts were deleted, now I'm magically restored. This project is a cluster fuck. I'm greatful to have my profile restored but this has taught me to not put all my space exploration eggs in one basket. I suggest people don't over rely on Asgardia for anything at this point, do not give them ANY money until they have a WELL DEVELOPED PLAN for a Space Station with blueprints and how they will fund it (not just taxing us for nothing) there are so many people who want to start Asgardia related business JUST WAITING on the forums and they are ignored and told to just wait and just wait.
