I have a lot of experience in a lot of different fields of science and office management. Though I do not hold any degrees as such, I have some college under my belt in the fields of naturopathic medicine, herbology, meditation, first aide, psychology and some criminal justice.
Since I live in a state that does not require a license for naturopathic medicine, I am able to practice. I love helping others; helping to educate them as well on how herbs, meditation, reflexology, biofeedback, and other forms of natural healing can benefit them.
As mentioned above, I do have a lot of experience in office management. I've worked as an office manager for a club that had live bands, set up their website back when html had no numbers after it. I have worked as the head of a food pantry and assistant office manager for a church and helped to set up their first computer system and helped them gain their 501 (c)3 status.
I have worked as an assistant office manager for low income housing that was located in the inner city. I have excellent people skills and had to learn how to deal with different types of people.
I am also an ex Navy Wife so I do have some understanding of the military.
I have done a lot of volunteering:
*Volunteered at several food pantries over the years
*Volunteered at soup kitchens at various churches by cooking and serving food to the hungry
*Organized food and clothing drives
*Volunteered as a translator for Cuban political refugees and helped them with gaining housing, medical care and other necessary things that were needed. It has been years since I've spoken Spanish and I'm kind of rusty at it however, it would be very easy for me to get back into practice.
*I have volunteered my time and energy to people in hospice care. I have sat death watch and been with a few people to help comfort them however I could at the end.
My accomplishments:
*I was a Brownie, Girl Scout and Lamp Lighter
*Was accepted in the Naturopathic Medicine PhD program at the Herbal Healer Academy (though I did not complete the entire program, I will be taking the courses that are required to complete it and gain my PhD.)
*I wrote 2 screen plays that are registered with the Writer's Guild of America-West
*Completed a novella that will be self published and hopefully available for purchase during the first couple of months of 2018.
*I love taking pictures and one of my photos will be published in a poetry book that will be published and available (the current estimated date for this is early 2018.) The name of the book is titled Dreamonology and is written by Rich Orth.
I am very well versed with the laws in the United States concerning disabled persons, as I am disabled myself. I have helped a few people gain their basic rights as afforded to them in the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Currently a lot of my work is done in the entertainment field. I am a staff member of a blog (as well as have my own blog) for which I write reviews on music videos and songs and received a promotion to movie critic.
As a middle aged woman, I believe that life experiences can be just as educating as having a degree. The longer a person lives, the more they learn. You could say that I am addicted to education and through educating myself and putting those things into practice, I have been able to not only enrich my life but help others through what I've learned.
I would be honored to represent the local people in my area as a Debutante. I would work hard for Asgardians to ensure that the government runs smoothly. Though I do not have a governmental plan in place, I have been brain storming ideas. I will be reaching out to those who are within my area to ask them what they feel is needed (as their opinions are important) and begin organizing a plan that hopefully would be accepted though the chain of command.
Again, I would be honored to serve Asgardians as a Debutante. I hope you find me worthy of such an honor.
