I am Jordan Ballega, 42, a multimedia specialist who is a current National Community Manager in Asgardia. I was been involved in social development in our community and currently owned a small Mobile Apps/ Internet Marketing Business.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you my desire to become a member of the Asgardian Parliament.

I cannot guarantee you that I can deliver what is the ideal plan everyone's desire to achieve, but I do guarantee you that I will be your voice to deliver your heart desire to parliament.

Since day 1 that I have been an Asgardian, I participate in so many discussion until I have created the structure of 4 fundamental Principles. This is where I derived TECHELPS where my platform will stand.

TECHELPS is the acronym for the following principles:

HEALTH - Asgardia Citizens needs to maintain and improve physical and mental health.

EDUCATION - Acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.

LIVELIHOOD - Means of securing the basic necessities -food, water, shelter and clothing.

PEOPLE'S EMPOWERMENT - Empowerment to drive productivity in every community.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Meeting human development goals while sustaining Natural resources and ecosystem.

TECHNOLOGY -  Human life depends on Advance technology in space, therefore, technology will drive to maintain and improve all needs of human life and living organism in Asgardia.

Though most of the principles are not yet currently applicable to our current status as Asgardia, It is right for us to start in the right principles. I will be the advocate of TECHELPS in Asgardia starting from advocating an open source Educational system for livelihood of Every Asgardians.

I will create a venue where every Asgardians can discussed with me their ideas. I will be transparent to all my plan thru closed communications with everyone such as live webinar and forum discussions.

I believed this is an ambitious plan, a bumpy road, a new endeavour, but at the end of this, and I assure you, is to serve you guys in a greater and meaningful Asgardia. This is about leading you into Asgardia’s real world and guide our countrymen as we adjust into this paradigm shift. Hello  my fellow Asgardian's, i am Augustine Tee, a 28years old man! I am so happy to be part of this space kingdom,  this is a new era for us all and my message to you today is "put on your  work shoes" you and i have a work to do in Asgardia;

I  saw Asgardia as bigger than the sum of our individual ambitions,  greater than all the differences of birth or wealth or faction. We a  young nation, but in the words of Scripture, the time has come to set  aside childish things. The time has come to affirm our enduring spirit;  to choose our better history; to carry forward that precious gift, that  noble idea, passed on from generation to generation: the God-given  promise that all are equal, all are free, and all deserve a chance to  pursue their full measure of happiness.

In  affirming the greatness of our nation Asgardia, we will understand that  greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey will never  be one of short-cuts or settling for less. It will not be the path for  the faint-hearted - for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only  the pleasures of riches and fame. Rather, it will be the risk-takers,  the doers, the makers of things - some celebrated but more often men and  women obscure in their labor, who have carried us up the long, rugged  path towards prosperity and freedom.

I am appealing to all Asgardian's to give me your mandate to serve in the parliament, i will;

(1)Prevent  the abuse and misuse of executive, legislative and public offices,  through greater accountability, transparency, and strict.

(2)Build a greater and stronger nation together.

(3)Security and conflict resolution on national security and defence.

(4)Initiate  policies to ensure that all Asgardian's are free to live and work in  any part of the nation by removing state of origin, tribe, ethnic, and  religious affiliations from documentation requirements in our  identification of citizens and replace these with state of residence and  fashion out the appropriate minimal qualification for obtaining such a  state of residency, nation-wide.

(5)Maintain a strong, close and frame relationship within the gulf of the commonwealth and the rest of the world.

How often in human civilization we had the chance to buildup a new society beyond the previous values, cultural and geographical constrains? How often we had the chance to set up a new state without considering race,religion, money, without migrate somewhere else on Earth but simply adhering to the idea that a better society can be based on simple values such as equality,  unity, human dignity and happiness, freedom and peace? We shall be honest with ourselves and admit that not even democracy or any other forms of society on Earth could provide such a nice and big dream. and that is the crazy dream of Asgardia, if we could not do this on Earth let's then be bold and crazy enough and do it somewhere else.  Well, in order to achieve this dream is now time to work beyond the nice words! Someone has to get the things done! There will be a lot of things to do in order to setup a new nation, we only have a constitution (which is a great start of course) but how about law system, health, education, how we are going to provide safety, what are the mechanisms to be in place in order to be sure that we can provide happinessor and equality? There are many many questions that need to be answered.

The state of Asgardia has entered an exciting and yet critical stage of its development now that the first small satellite has been launched. Members of our parliament will have a lot of practical and business issues to attend to in the first months of its existence leading up to Asgardia’s application for official recognition as a nation state by the UN (United Nations). Over that same period members will be working closely with our Head of Nation I gor Ashurbeyli and other supporters to develop a sound and sustainable business model, which we intend to be based on a combination of crowdsourcing and investment in the incorporated company Asgardia AG. One early task will be to convince not just members but the wider investment community that we have a viable business strategy capable of supporting our ambitious programme of satellite launches over the coming years, as well as associated scientific research activities.

It is absolutely essential during this formative stage that Asgardia and its Members of Parliament do not lose site of the founding aspirations of our space nation, based on an ambitious constitution that aims to set new standards for governance and civic participation. As an MP I would ensure that the right balance is struck between day to day business and development of the grand project, which has both short and longer-term objectives.

In the more immediate future Asgardia will establish its domain in space and build partnerships with all agencies on the ground willing to participate in joint research and shared missions. The key point here is that Asgardia as an independent state in space will not be subject to the current Outer Space Treaty which requires governments to authorise and supervise all space activities, including those of non-governmental and non-profit organizations. By becoming a nation, itself, Asgardia will of course accept liability for any damage on earth resulting from its activities in space, just as any existing country has to now.

I also propose that Asgardia promote use of cryptocurrencies and the associated blockchain technology because this promises to allow people to work transparently across trust boundaries without relying on corruptible human bureaucracies to operate. Unlike humans, machines should always be trustworthy providing they are properly configured and backed up with clearly defined boundaries over their role within the decentralized blockchain structure.

As an MP I would recognize that our short term and long-term objectives are really inseparable. I would argue firstly that colonizing Mars, other planets of that matter our Moon should not be our main focus, which instead should be on building a colony in orbit, which would be our nation in space. That of course will require a lot of investment when we consider that the International Space Station cost $100 billion and $40 million for each flight to it. But this can be accomplished in stages as the enterprise builds momentum. That is why as an MP I would devote a lot of my time to promotion of the nation and its varied ambitions within my community. As a science writer I am qualified to discuss the issues in the media and also assist with content creation.

I would argue that scientific research should play a major role, both for its own sake and because it will propel the whole enterprise forward. Asgardia’s founders have already cited shielding the Earth from asteroids and coronal mass ejections as an early objective. I would argue such work should not be conducted in isolation but in collaboration with agencies on the ground already working on the problem. I would also propose that Asgardia does not look entirely out into space but should engage in projects with benefits on earth beyond asteroid protection, such as collaborating with agencies such as Nasa over space weather and integrating that better into global forecasting models. The idea here is that the flux of charged particles hitting the earth’s atmosphere as a result of solar activities and other factors can have a profound influence on our weather and yet is not factored into forecasts on the ground at present.

We should also keep an eye open on even longer-term goals for humanity as a whole. Some leading researchers and thinkers such as cosmologist Stephen Hawking have argued that within as little as a Millennium, humans will have to evacuate the planet Earth. Even if such warnings are unduly pessimistic there will come a time when such actions are necessary and it is unlikely there is anywhere in the solar system suitable for the necessary large-scale settlement. Therefore, Asgardia could in the ultra-long term be looking at establishing platforms for mass evacuation, which may sound far fetched at present but should perhaps become a long-term research priority in years to come.

Of most immediate concern is that Asgardia’s fine constitution be honoured by the early activities of its citizens, MPs and decision makers. There is a paradox here. While we all propose Asgardia as a vehicle for launching new ideas and building on the noble aspirations of its constitution it is vital that the enterprise remains grounded in fundamental principles and acknowledges the limitations as well as the massive potential of the human spirit. We are noble but mortal and fallible creatures who need encouraging to follow the path towards enlightenment rather than ignominy and all associated with the Asgardian enterprise must remain vigilant against abuses of power or privilege among our members.

The key forces shaping the World - capitalism, corporate expansion at any cost, religious fundamentalism, and a slow and steady collapse in faith in institutions. We must step back and consider what can be saved, and more importantly, is it worth saving. If it is not, we should invent something better.

I believe the only effective way to overcome these challenges is radical transparency and egalitarianism. We cannot begin to create a new society (and Asgardia is a new opportunity to create a society we can have faith in) We must literally start again, accept nothing without examination. Money should not dominate our political discourse, corporations are valued members of our society, but they are NOT our society, they are but part of the fabric of society. No more or less than the other foundational parts of a functional society;

- A vibrant and engaged community

- The rule of law; and the equality of everyone for everything under that law

- A safety net for the unfortunate

- Innovation in art, business, design and technology - and an entrepreneurial drive for advancement while keeping an eye on the impact of our decisions on the future

- Transparency in politics and the interaction between politics and business

- An optimistic and caring collective approach to overcoming challenges

Space was defined in Naples (Italy) the Fourth Environment of Humankind during the last century eithies. I will never worj to leave our beloved Mather Earth, rather to expand humankind in Space. I was a co-founder of the Space Renaissance Italia association and I was President for the first mandate. Later I founded the Center for Near Space (CNS) within the association Italian Institute for the Future (IIF) and presently I am Vice-president of IIF and Director General of CNS. Our main objective is to support the development of the Space Sector in the merceological sense, and I believe Asgardia at the end shares the very same aim. I feel ready to contribute in the attempt to do so, provided that Asgardians will decide to support me by chosing my experience in the field.

There is a clear future beyond the Earth, that promises to provide a lot of resources in terms of minerals and energy. These elements will represent a very important asset to develop Asgardia for the benefit of all Asgardians and even for all Earthy populations. Asgardia itself will represent the glue, the main propulsive element, the sole possible interconnecting force helping humankind to expand in Space forgetting boundaries and countries.

I do believe it will solve all traditional problems we have on Earth about race, religion, culture, politic differences. And not by homogenizing all of us, rather offering us a single common house, a single legal set up, a spacewide home for all.

My core principles and priorities are :

- A society based on the equality of all rational beings, ignoring all secondary attributes (Class, Wealth, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Physical Attributes/Impairments/Augmentation, Chemistry, Manufacture etc).

- All decision making should be rational and scientific and based on facts and r easoning alone.

- Improve the happiness quotient of all members of society. This implies removing the drudgery of unfulfilling work through automation. With a view to creating a post scarcity society (which might require a wage for all citizens in the short term.

- Positively encourage all citizens to contibute to both society and their own personal development in their own unique way. I'd expect a blossoming of the creative arts, sciences and and civic duty as time is freed up.

- Discourage the accumulation of power for it's own sake by all members of socie ty, by whatever means.

- A dynamic society will outgrow its home and move on, to explore, find new resources, pursue new knowledge. For example, Asgardia should move out into the solar system, mine asteroids etc.

To establish practical solutions to support the creation of a viable Asgardian nation and to implement some of its key objectives through the creation of an independent space agency (Asgardia Space Agency). In particular my aspiration is to eventually provide a unified umbrella for the development and exploitation of space under direction of the Asgardian Nation.  Its first project should be to address a problem identified by the United Nations as a serious threat to future near space development and that is Space Junk. This fledgling space agency's first objective is to design a viable system to remove such hazards to navigation.

Introduction

For far too long, systems of government have run on the ideologies of politics, power, and money. This needs to change, and Asgardia has provided the absolute best opportunity for this change to occur, given that we take initiative to make it happen. My goal as a Deputy Minister is to ensure our government runs on fact, as proven by modern science and technology, and not on the widespread misinformation in today's world.

Governance Through Fact

So you're probably wondering, then, how I will help to make this change a possibility. Well, I intend to inform my constituents on the science behind certain issues from multiple angles for which I am helping to govern. Based on feedback after distributing these scientific findings, I will make my decision on the respective issue final, and proactively help to implement the decision throughout our government. As such, my influence will be based on what my constituents want, while ensuring science has been taken into account. Some ways I intend to get information to voters is through email and potentially a mobile application, should constituents be interested.

Education as a Priority

Another area of focus is ensuring equal and open high-quality education for anyone who seeks it. Education is the key to our future, opening doors for innovation and new scientific findings. I intend to ensure our Government is doing everything in its power to make possible easily-accessible education.

Some methods I have for executing this include partnering with non-profit educational organizations to give Asgardia citizens access to educational materials and distributing certificates of completion from Asgardia when certain skills have been mastered. Public education is of the utmost importance in a Government run vastly by science and technology.

Voter Inclusion

In order to run a complete and transparent government, I intend to include voters in as many discussions as is possible. A great platform I would like to look into to include voters on Asgardia issues is something along the lines of the popular US politics app Countable. This app gets input from users of the app and elected officials can use this information to help inform their vote or opinions on such issues.

Credibility

As for my credibility as a candidate, I am a current university student studying computer science. I rank towards the top of my class, and I also represent my particular college (of engineering) in our governing body on campus. I also work at a software company, and have been chosen to work at one of the largest technology companies in the world, where I intend to greatly enhance my skills as a computer science student. Lastly, I am consistently up-to-date on current issues and modern science and technology, and I have led several organizations in the past.

I live in the United States, where I've been practicing medicine since 1998.  I've delivered thousands of terrestrial baby humans.  As a parent and provider, I understand the importance of developing a realistic, but optimistic, vision for future generations.  I have started a number of very successful organizations.  I've developed and successfully marketed a number of inventions, ventures involving transfer of intellectual properties.  I've been able to demonstrate my ability to build networks successfully.

Mission Statement

If elected, my mission is to represent of fellow Asgardians to the best of my abilities.  It is time for us to make our stand.  We need to speak in one voice to send a message to our own people, a message to the future of humanity and a message to extra-terrestrial intelligent beings.  It is time to send a message from Earth.  We need to embrace our accomplishments and our diversity.  We need to celebrate our achievements.  And we need to express our eagerness to pursue a fair and just peace.

The second step is to contact extra-terrestrial intelligence.  Communication with an extra-terrestrial race may result in a sudden and unexpected technological revolution.  A space nation will improve the chances of another race of beings showing interest in our species and our achievements.

I am running for a Governmental position in Asgardia on a simple platform - we as a people must secure our future as a nation from possible outside interference. As a candidate for the English representation in Asgardia, I can speak from experience when it comes to the fear of elections being meddled with by other sovereignties. The Mueller investigation has cost United States taxpayers millions of dollars thus far, and will continue to do so until the full extent of the interference in the 2016 United States Presidential Election is brought to light.

Even now as Asgardia builds a name for itself, we have received an email from Asgardia noting that the Administration has the right to disqualify, remove or veto votes without warning. The first reason given for this right being reserved by the Administration is to counter voter fraud through fake accounts.

I commend the Administration for doing what it can do ensure that the first round of elections are as fair and unbiased as they can be given the current level of security Asgardia has for its election process. That being said, I know that we can enact new laws that can account for and mitigate all cases of voter fraud if implemented correctly. Rather than relying on a system that allows “The Administration” to discredit votes without warning, we need to adopt a system that keeps the power in the hands of Asgardian citizens.

Despite my education being in Biology, I kept up with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency throughout my undergraduate program and beyond. As early as 2011 on the Gregorian calendar, I saw the potential this technology had to offer through a platform of distributed trust. Now in 2017, we have a plethora of different cryptocurrencies, with different applications that each seeks to fill the place of. Solarcoin for example, is an altcoin built on the idea of generating coins based on solar energy generation.

In order to safeguard Asgardia from attacks from third parties and sovereignties, we need to perform two vital tasks, which as a member of Government I will seek to enact:

1. To create our own cryptocurrency that will act as the national currency of Asgardia which every Asgardian citizen will have the right to hold and use.
2. To leverage distributed trust and blockchain technology to generate tokens that secure the identity of every Asgardian citizen, allowing them to vote securely and remotely without interference from third parties.

Creating a Government-issued ID for each Asgardian citizen would be fairly easy to do, which each citizen can use to vote in elections. The tricky part is to distribute tokens anonymously while still maintaining equal representation and assurance of citizenship. This can be done through token exchange, and I will be writing a white paper to go over the process over the following months with input from interested Asgardian citizens and members of the crypto-community at large. This is vital to our future as a nation, eliminating the possibility of voter fraud and securing the rights of Asgardian citizens to vote without fear of disqualification.

I have seen that many Asgardian citizens would like to adopt Solarcoin as our currency, and as such some citizens may dislike the idea of our own national cryptocurrency. I ask that we consider the possibility that those who would want to adopt Solarcoin may also have some stake in that coin and therefore would seek to benefit from this adoption. Even if this is not the case, we must also contend with the reality that there are certainly those who have large stakes in Solarcoin, or any other cryptocurrencies that have already been generated. These parties may seek to sway or guide the evolution of Asgardia in their interests. Worse still, if one or more of these currencies were successfully attacked by a nation-state (or even a nationless entity with the right resources), the Asgardian economy may fall into jeopardy. For this reason, we must safeguard ourselves by creating our own system of currency and our own National Bank.

At the heart of my interests in these endeavors is to represent you, the Asgardian citizens in safeguarding a secure future for our Space Nation. I hope that you carefully consider my candidacy, and I appreciate the opportunity Asgardia has given to myself and all those who are running for Government positions.

Introduction:

Before witnessing the creation of Asgardia, i spent many years researching and reflecting on the universe, life and the beauty that is our conscious mind. I look at our earth societies and sadness fills my heart. I see a society led by ego, greed and conflict, divided communities fighting each other over the smallest differences and avoiding any kind of change. Even though society is far from perfect at the moment, I truly believe in our potential and in the possibility to create a prosper future for mankind. A future in which humanity stands united, living in a well structured, sustainable and balanced society that promotes investments in technology and education, the key components to solve our current sociological  problems, enabling us to explore space and settle humans among the stars.

I promoted my ideas for years between friends and family but I was young and never had the resources to make those ideas a reality. I still remember the day I read about Asgardia, the so called space nation. I couldn’t believe it, I had played with the idea before but never thought to see it happening in my life time. Asgardia is still very young, but just like with humans, the early years are of extreme relevance for the future development. The persons now selected to be part of the government and the way Asgardia will be structured has a great impact on the society for generations to come. I truly identify with Asgardias vision and valorous, being a member of the Goverment, able to make a difference and actively guide humanity towards a brighter future would be a tremendous honor and a position I would dedicate my life to.

Vision:

Asgardia as humans first and only space nation, carries big responsibilities but also has the capability to achieve the unthinkable. To ensure our success and enable mankind to reach it’s true potential, we first have to accomplish humanity biggest challenges. We have to grow as a community, unifying mankind under one nation and restructuring society in a effective, balanced and innovative way. Solving those two problems will be long journey but once a reality, Asgardias survival will be guaranteed for generations to come. While always having those objectives in mind, Asgardia will continue to develop in all directions. On Earth and our national territory a fair and well functioning market with it’s own currency will be implemented, creating not only an independent and sustainable financial structure but as well opportunity for all Asgardians, education of the highest level will be available to all humans and constant investments in technology will give us the tools to expand into the universe and build a space station worthy of Asgardia, a space station we can all call home. As we grow our political system will gain momentum, giving us the necessary influence to shape the space laws in a effective and desired way, ensuring a peaceful exploration and colonization of space.

a. At the moment Asgardian territory is extremely small and not inhabited by any citizen. Even though it’s a big first step for our society there is a need to expand, a need to create national territory in space we can all call home. For that reason I will promote and take active participation in the elaboration and creation of an asgardian space station that will be launched years from now.

b. As we venture deeper into space, Asgardian territory will expand naturally, but we have to find a way to supply those colonies and guarantee a  certain quality of live for the inhabitants.
