I sit here behind my computer, looking at the URL link for this community, but I see more than just a webpage, or another tab in my browser. I see a concept long overdue, where members of all lands can come together, and serve as champions for peace . As with any other political contest, I could easily sit here, and proclaim to you the wonderful things that we will bring to this place, but this is only a half truth. We will struggle, we will face difficult times, and we will have to make difficult decisions. My campaign strives to be different from the others, as I do not believe that once a person is elected to a position of office that the power of public opinion fades. This campaign embraces that power, answers to it, recognizes it, and will admit to it when it has made an incorrect decision.

My name is Tahru, and I do not have any fancy degrees that would impress those who find that sort of thing appealing (so if that's the kind of candidate you're looking for you won't one here). What I do have is something that so many politicians fail to acknowledge; basic human experience. I know the great beauty life holds, and I know the great sufferings it can bear. I myself have experienced some of these burdens; the economy is seemingly never stable, war is all around, and society seems less compassionate than ever before. These are truths. Wanna hear another one? I don't know how to fix them, but I have some ideas that, when elected, I will bring to office:

First, a policy of humble government will be advocated at all times. I will use my voice to direct the government away from what they feel they're doing right, to what we will all know they could do better

Mistakes will be made, and admitted. No cover-ups, no bs, no lies, only recognition

First policies introduced will be a formation of an individual council made of common citizens with the authority to propose amendments to legislation, and, ideally, will have access to more information as legislation is processed. The council will be independent, have no political affiliation, and will bring more democracy to the legislative process

Citizens will have a huge say in what legislative agendas we push for. I will consult regularly with constituents in order to ensure that we are pushing things that people feel will help them the most. This responsibility also extends to making sure that government activities don't remain focused on useless projects that are of no relevance, or benefit to helping the public

This nation may be space-bound, but look around, we all see the problems we have on Earth, so let's make this different. Let's stop believing that one person has the answer to everything, only to, yet again, be retroactively regretful of endorsing the candidates we hoped would be different. Politics is sometimes difficult, but it doesn't have to be bad. Let's change this. To paraphrase Daenarys Targaeryn, we will break the wheel. We will learn, and grow, and become better with each conversation, with each action, with each piece of legislation we pass.

To conclude, I am not a doctor, or a professor, or anything especially exciting. I'm a retail worker in the winter, and camp counsellor in the summer. I may not have formal training, but my time in these fields have made me more mindful of just how complex life can be. I know how hard it is to work long hours for little financial reward, I know how society and the culture of today is exhausting at times, and I know that even though it would be my honour to be your voice, it will take all of us get real work done.

A Secular Vision

Laws and Institutions of Asgardia are regulated under secular means and practicality. Approach on a complete secular educational institutions with professional standards of academics under federal supervision, national education for scientific awareness as a goal for a scientific informed society. Lawmakers are subject to secular sentiments and influence in the making and creation of laws and policies for a fairer justified system for the public well-being. Freedom of practicing religion and spiritual belief will be regulated only under the 'personal sphere' and with the supervision of public authorities. Outlawing any sectarian body of movements, groups, or institutions.

Culture and Language Approach

Cultural reformation and Main Language courses will be provided as a basic national rights. Public awareness and education on diversity of race, faith, and gender will be nationally taught in schools and community centres.

Minority Importance

Minority Rights and Opinion will be as important and valid as the Majority population, Cultural segregation attempts or any hateful bigoted sentiment that would cause public harm will not be tolerated and will be publically outlawed. Minority Population will have equal rights to every members of the society.

Economic Application

Governmental financial support on economic markets that will affect research, technical, and engineering jobs. Open free market model under influence of capitalism. Public funding for basic social healthcare and educational tuition. Industrial dependency on space agricultural market and lab grown foods.

Vote for me as the Minister of Governmental Political Advisor and Minister of Public Relations.

Everyone is excited about a space culture, but, we have yet to decide what ASGARDIAN culture is.

I look at the discussion groups, I read the posts, and I see a lot of the same old words, same old feuds, same old humanity.

Well, I dare to dream of different Asgardia.  One free from the shackles and petty bickering that has so far marred humanity's attempts at government.

So, what do you see?" I hear you ask!

I see no walls behind which information hides, nothing concealed for the "good of the common folk."

I see a transparent government, with educated, enlightened citizens who not only support a government's actions, but understand WHY the government is acting is this way.  I see news services reporting facts, reporting situations with accuracy and clarity, showing not only bare figures and statics, but the logic and conclusions behind them.

Asgardians are clever folks, folk who dream of a better, purer, more scientific and kindlier world for their descendants.

Let's roll up our sleeves and make it happen.

MY PLAN -

Establish a transparent and investigative news service for the benefit of the Asgardian Public. One of facts and conclusions, not speculation and hysteria.  I intend to use this as a tool to mold the thinking of the Asgardian citizen away from emotional, reactive communication, into respectful, curious and informed questions.

As an experienced attorney advocate and litigator, I know the importance of putting the people you represent first, and also understand the consequences of making decisions on behalf of others.  My experience can lead us into a bright future!

Asgardia brings to the world a new way of doing politics, a new vision about doing research, a new philosophy promoting the most elevated values to the humankind. Under the circumstances, it is only natural for Asgardia to also encourage a new way of educating children, in order to prepare the new generations to continue and take further the wonderful work we are doing today . I see Asgardia as a unique opportunity for people from all over the world to understand and adhere to the idea that the human race is not meant to fight and compete against itself, but to grow and develop in peace, together, as part of a Universe/Multiverse, with immutable rules of life.

As Asgardian Educators, I believe we have a duty of honour to prepare the new generations for the revolutionary model of our new space nation , involving children (including early ages) into self-directed forms of learning. Children engaged in self-directed learning are marvellous. Their drives to explore, understand, play with, and master those things, and their joy when they succeed, are palpable. Such a child is fully alive to the world and to learning. This is what education already looks like for children who have not yet reached “school age.” It can look like this for ALL children. And Asgardia should set an example!

Because Asgardians will be in the beginning bonded to a terrestrial state and will have dual citizenship with Asgardia and their terrestrial state, Asgardian Education Hubs (AEH) will be built throughout terrestrial communities.  In those AEHs, children—and adults—could come to play, explore, make new friends, and learn. It might provide computers, art supplies, books, and athletic and science equipment; there might also be a gymnasium, as well as fields and trees for outdoor play. Perhaps it would be an extension of the local public library and park systems. The people using the AEHs could form mixed-age groups to pursue special interests and learn from each other. Classes might also be offered in music, art, athletics, math, business management, wood-working, or anything else people want to study or practice in a structured way. But there would be no requirements or stress-inducing comparisons among people.

Any child or adult with an Internet connection has acc ess to a world of information. So , self-directed education has never been easier. But it has also never been more essential to success. The rapidly changing economy of Asgardia will put a premium on self-motivation, innovation, and the ability to acquire new skills and evaluate new ideas. People develop these traits when they are empowered to seek out and think about information that is similar to their own real questions. Fortunately, this empowerment is natural to all human beings; it exists in every child fro m birth.

As Asgardians, citizens of the first space nation in history of humankind, we have a moral duty to lead by example. An important thing to keep in mind is that a mass-scale transformation that puts people in charge of their own learning is not only possible but inevitable. Scientists have found that a tipping point occurs when some 3 percent of people adopt a new belief; after that, it spreads like wildfire. At that point, standard public and private schools that have resisted change will either have to reinvent themselves or become irrelevant. We should not forget that our Head of Nation, Dr Igor Ashurbeyli has stated in his Solemn Speech of Inauguration, that Asgardia will aim to reach a population of 150 million, precisely for this reason!

The journey to the tipping point has already begun and is gaining momentum. The only question is how quickly we can get there, for the sake of our children and for the future of our space nation, Asgardia!

Our world is corrupted by the power that comes with money and only solution to fix this problem is removing the money and using the old trade system without any currency, an Asgardia with a currency will become the world we live in time. We can not allow people to gather power from natural resources. Our only purpose should be "Equality" on every meaning.

Information delivery among Asgardians, whether it be among government officials or among the citizens is going to be crucial. Given, we're going to be the first to colonize space and be free from the boundaries of Earth and it's nations. Communication is a key factor in the development of Asgardia in all forms.

I am the Brigade Safety Manager for the 160th Signal Theater Brigade. Certified in General Industrial Safety as well as OSHA 511 and 502. Highly skilled and trained in Hazardous Materials, Waste and Communications. Along with 15+ years of safety experience. These skills are but a few skills that will be needed to protect our Nation from all possible or immanent life threatening hazards and I can guarantee that life will be up to 98.99% safe as long as I have a say so for it. It will be my pleasure and a grand honor to be afforded  this opportunity to serve this nation in a safety capacity.

Unity is the same word is equal the cognitive expression has to be as one.  Power struggle between those who wish to command is not allowed and the voice of all is heard. - rescue and life support in emergency situations

- repel any kind of attack against life, goods and properties of our citizens

- protection of Head of the Nation, Parliament and Government

ERRU will asume all those tasks from its subunits as:

- assault

- engeering

- comm/IT

- paramedics

- logistics (u.a)

Training a National Guard - all citizens should learn to defend themselves and our Homeland.

Humanity has certainly lost it's way admist spurring technological and scientific development . We have neglected our roots and it is a very certain truth that a tree will cease to exist if it forgets it's root . We need to reinvent , rediscover and restart the long way that humanity has traversed .

I personally believe that till date no nation , no country , no community has been able to establish what we were supposed to . No religion , no science , no thought has been able to give the eternal divinity with which we were born.

Slowly and steadily , we have pushed ourselves in a world of darkness and ruthlessness . In the conquest to rule more , we have forgot what we share in common .

My purpose is still incomplete , and I certainly can't define it in mere group of words .
