reasonable, admin, what if more than 1 person held the same id no. and registered email? what if some registered asgardians' email boxes were hacked and ids stolen, how do they proof they're the "real one"?

Uhm... you do realize that you sent it to us in an unencrypted email, simply as plain text, do you? Every single device between the server that sent it and our computers, and all the bots running on them, had a chance to read it and store it. And since its name is an ID Number, probably many-many did.

When should we expect the certificate? I got my id when it was first offered.

Hi Armisis

Please see the original post from Lena De Winne located at this thread - https://asgardia.space/en/forum/forum/asgardia-news-9/topic/certificates-preparation-please-make-sure-your-name-is-written-correctly-1207/

Specifically the first paragraph As I have already mentioned in some FB discussions, the Certificates will be issued and emailed in the first half of January to all those who have filled in the Verification form.

It is likely they will be emailed in PDF format to prevent modifications. You will then be enable to print them.

Additional information is available on the Asgardia.Space webiste FAQ section https://asgardia.space/en/page/faq

Um, how precisely does .PDF prevent modifications? If anything, that's just made it a lot easier. Commonly, the way to assure validity of any document is to keep the materials required to produce from "the public". Or that's how sane operations commonly function.

A "certificate" run out of a home printer? that sounds worthwhile use of anyone time, and not a massive waste of cheap paper and substandard inks or a waste of the few KB used to transfer it.....

Sometimes I have a feeling that Asgardia is just a scam to collect our personal information. They are clearly not taking the IT security seriously, nobody even tries to answer when somebody asks or raises their concerns about it.

Everything possible, when the Bit coin was coming out, who knows the price of the unreal coins? Maybe, our country will be come ture. 没有什么不可能,当比特币出来的时候,谁会知道它的价格会如此之高,也许,我们国家会成为现实。

@Valéry

Not being able to use accented letters here is just a matter of database setting. A weird choice in 2016/2017 but it happens. Presumably it uses some equivalent of the 7 bit ASCII instead of the now appropriate UTF-8 (or the even better UTF8MB4, although the basic multilingual plane of the simple UTF-8 covers probably everything anybody might use in their name and that is the default everywhere, hence not using it is weird).
