TLDR (Too Long, Didn't Read) - Physical attendance at the Vienna Assembly in June is not required, but plan to be available for text and video calls.

Travel to Vienna for a personal assembly of Parliament is very much appreciated to show dedication and solidarity towards Asgardia's new government. If an MP in good standing chooses to attend, as far as the budget allows, Asgardia will cover travel, hotel, and dining expenses for the trip to Vienna.

We understand that Members of Parliament may be unable to attend due to practical reasons, such as job conflicts, health issues, or travel limitations. It has been stated in every Asgardia Answers videocast that travel is not a requirement to participate in Asgardia. The Declaration of Unity states that "All citizens of Asgardia are equal, regardless of their Earthly country of origin, residence, citizenship, race, nationality, gender, language, or financial standing." A Citizen's participation in Parliament cannot be limited by income or travel restrictions.  That said, because it is a paid job, it is wise to have access to technology and computer resources that allow one to perform job duties such as text chat, audio and video conferences (e.g. Skype). Participation in the Vienna Assembly may be possible through teleconfercing tools that allow absent members to join in discussion and voting. MPs must be prepared to contribute regular hours to working this position - this is neither a pretend job nor a free ride for status. Prepare to learn, to study, and to work. Members of Parliament are responsible to legislate laws for Asgardia which will guide how we interact with each other and with other Earthly nations both now and into the future.
