Voice chat bridge with encryption

Have we considered a Voice Chat technology yet, for large scale conferencing?

Skype and Discord are not secure.  They have central server decrypt.  I have alternatives for large groups.

I would like to suggest some interesting opensource projects:
- https://jitsi.org/ (encrypted video conferences, funded by Atlassian but opensource)
- https://matrix.org/ (decentralized encrypted chat/video server, with https://riot.im/ as web/desktop/mobile client)

Well, for a free and open society the communications can be unencrypted. That is part of why we are using programs like Discord right now, for their transparency.
