Blockchain Technology adoption

I'm working on the forefront of digitalisation myself and wonder if there are already propositions in this regard.

I'd propose using blockchain based technology as a voting platform for the future government and monetary policy. Most likely in other aspects of civil and governmental life as well in order to secure transparancy and democracy.

Greetings from a very fresh member.

Blockchain might be a bad idea. Slow(er), fees and not scalable. I suggest using the tangle like IOTA ( https://iota.org/ ).

Hi there.

I'm a developer interested in contribute to the nation develpment. If you're thinking in starting some project plz count me in. I've no experiencie with blockchain or IOTA programming, but would be glad to learn.

I also suggest IOTA over Blockchain for voting.  It has a straightforward API to integrate into any app that uses Python, NodeJS, or bash via cURL (https://iota.readme.io/docs/getnodeinfo). Would be worth exploring to see what we can do with this.  A minimum viable product (MVP) for use within Asgardia might consist of a group of encrypted Asgardian IDs added to a ledger.  For each item that might be on a ballot, there would be one ledger for that item.  For each item there will be two or more choices to vote on.  Each client app then submits a number to the ledger corresponding to their choice for that item.  Any other client app can see the current results of the vote without being able to alter the results themselves.
