As most know humans can’t survive without water, so any off-earth colonies or space arks will need a sufficient supply to ensure all people have enough to remain healthy. The issue is that water in bulk weighs a lot, so importing tons from earth would be both very expensive and logistically difficult, my solution fellow Asgardians is to mine water-ice from nearby asteroids and melt it back to a liquid state using a energy efficient heating method, with the amount of near-earth asteroids there should in theory be plenty of water both to keep humans alive and tons to spare for other uses. does anybody else with scientific knowledge think this idea would be viable for our outer-space journeys??
