I also have a question... Having lived in Delaware & DC, why are they listed inthe South Region when they are NOT in the South?? Wouldn't that create more difficulties for those 2 states??

Kentucky, Maryland, Deleware, and DC are technically in the Southern US because they fall south of the Mason-Dixon line. They are not traditionally referred to as Southern states because they did not join the Confederacy in the Civil War. Geographically speaking, they are Southern states. You are right, Asgardians from those states would suffer a distance obstacle in the event a meetup is planned.
