Your opinion is very important to determine and analyze the possible system of Solar conversion in open currency markets and its ratio to the main fully convertible currencies chosen by Asgardians for this purpose.
TrafficSense monitors population movements in all transportation modes and offers state of the art data and tools to best manage and optimize traffic and transportation for the entire metro area. TrafficSense links to the main switching centers of the mobile network and tracks all active phones in real time, anonymously and passively, to the exact street they are travelling on, pinpointing their exact location in short intervals.
This company could be useful for Asgardia as they work toward building habitable platforms in low-Earth orbit.
The company offers many products and services. For this article let’s take a look at their CitySense product, which monitors useful movements and behaviour patterns of inhabitants and visitors across all modes of transportation modes. CitySense is designed to provide state of the art data and tools to best manage and optimize city services and safety, allowing municipalities and governments to best develop their territories and accomplish their economic and cultural goals.
CitySense produces its data by connecting to the main switching centers of the mobile network and tracking all active phones in real time, anonymously and passively, to the exact street they are travelling on, pinpointing their exact location in short intervals.
Real-time traffic monitoring, including speeds, travel time and congestion detection at sensor’s grade quality, for a fraction of the cost.
This product also features origin-destination data (OD) as well as a mobility pattern analysis of the population across all modes of transportation for urban planning and transportation planning. This also helps with traffic impact studies and home travel surveys/
Other features include:
CitySense is incredibly accurate because it takes huge quantities of data points generated by the cellular network, and assigns GPS coordinates for each data point in real time. To accomplish that level of accuracy, the system matches the live signalling data from the network with maps of the cellular signalling patterns in the city. This serves as a reference location database (rather than the cellular tower location). The mapping process includes recording physical journeys over the roads, railways and paths, in which each cellular signalling messages are recorded with a GPS location reference.
The company further explained on their website that “once this location reference database is ready, the system will use it as follows: The system tracks each specific anonymous phone, and by using a sequence of cellular messages the mobile phone generates, CitySense correlates it to the exact route it is travelling on.” CitySense is capable of telling the difference between parallel, close-by roads and lanes which are separated by some type of terrain.
Moreover, once a phone is correlated to a path, the system can measure the position of the phone accurately, much like a virtual sensor. It does so every 250 meters on average along the route (in urban areas) while tracking the same vehicle as it passes every virtual sensor.
Every couple of location points provides an accurate travel time sample for that section. The system gathers all samples to continuously craft a full traffic data picture of the road being monitored. A special algorithm is used to yield slowdown alerts from that flow data. Further analysis is performed to ascertain where each phone owner lives, works, travels, in addition to how and why. Data is given for all neighbourhoods, industry zones and recreational facilities at street level resolution. The data quality was validated by many municipalities, government agencies and market leaders to match sensors data quality.
