Asgardia Mayoral 2021 Platform Objective: To be the Asgardia Mayoral representative in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) where an exceptional ability to liaise and communicate effectively is required to establish and maintain the growing understanding and future development of the space nation Asgardia. As we move forward in 2021, our focus as a whole should be creating a future unlike our past. By considering our past and present, pre & post pandemic, we can successfully create a better future for our community and future generations. My goal is to implement futurism into our present, to not repeat the mistakes of the past. Together we can learn from our mistakes and develop a positive change for the future where common sense is a standard and equality is the norm. My name is Willoughby Potter de Grimaldi, aka Willo. I am a 10 year Las Vegas resident business professional focused on conservation and global equality for minorities, including but not limited to the disabled, disadvantaged and unrepresented at present, both locally and internationally. At nearly 40 years old, I have lived across the US and the world, gathering vital knowledge and expertise in many fields. I value greatly the opportunity Asgardia has given both myself and the people of Planet Earth by creating a hopeful future for life beyond our native planet.  1. Represent you at the local level, thereby ensuring that your ideas and opinions influence the direction of Asgardia and in turn the entire space nation. This will continue to enable us to fulfill our goals and commitments more effectively and strengthen Asgardia’s cause for the next chapters our lives, both on Earth and beyond. 2. Keep you informed of regional, national and international affairs as well as introduce you to events happening around the globe. 3. Bring ideas, opportunities and initiatives to the Council of Asgardia that will help all in our community to improve understanding and awareness of the mission of Asgardia and the future hope for all mankind. 4. Represent the will of the space nation and the continuing aid required, by communicating with local business industries, governments and leaders to form solidified bonds to grow Asgardia as a whole. 5. Gather resources from local infrastructures to unite in the common goal of accelerating the Asgardia Space Nation and its growing infrastructure. Qualifications: * Possess excellent negotiation and public relation skills through kindness, compassion & multinational diplomacy. * Highly skilled in leadership and collaborating with others. * Have a genuine interest in space exploration and the need for the Space Nation of Asgardia. * Extremely enthusiastic, professional, reliable and dedicated. * Have first hand knowledge of all/most prefectures of our region. * Public Speaker, Presenter and Conference Facilitator. * Expat and International Traveler/Resident. * 20+ years of experience teaching and organizing local and international events, presentations and public speaking, through charity organizations and fortune 500 businesses from United Community AIDS Network (UCAN) to the Walt Disney Company.
