We’re launching a new challenge! To celebrate Asgardia’s Unity Day, we’re sending our coat of arms on a world tour. Give it a warm welcome in your own country and pass it on! ⠀ It’s easy to take part. Simply print out or draw the coat of arms, film a short clip with it and send your video to submissions@asgardia.space. Don’t forget to tag your friends and make sure you indicate your country and city. Videos with famous landmarks in the background are very welcome! ⠀ The first 30 participants to send their clips will receive Asgardia branded mugs as prizes! ⠀ We’ll show you the results of the challenge on June 17th.

Unity Day is coming soon and we believe it’s important to connect with all the Asgardians from different countries and continents on this special day. We invite you to participate in our virtual Coat of Arms relay. Print Asgardia’s Coat of Arms on the paper. The file is attached. Roll the piece of paper. Here is where things get more interesting: film a video of yourself on your smartphone or camera. Hold the phone horizontally, take a couple steps back so you’re fully visible from the waist up. Don’t worry too much about where you’re filming, the video, but if you have a great location like a pretty backyard, a cool room etc., it would be awesome if you used it! In the video do 4 simple steps: Reach to your right with your right hand outside the frame and take the paper. Unroll it and show the coat of arms into the camera. Roll the paper back up. ‘Pass’ it to your left with your left hand. That’s it! If you don’t have the opportunity to print out the logo, you can still participate! Just ‘pass’ a rolled up blank piece of paper in a shorter video. Fun and creative ways of passing the paper are welcome, just make sure you’re ‘taking’ the paper from your right and ‘passing’ it to your left! Send us the file before Saturday and don’t forget to list your name, country and city. If you don’t have a printer, but you still want to participate in the relay, you can skip step 2 and just pass a piece of rolled paper from your right to your left. Make sure your video isn’t too long: up to 8-10 seconds (2-3 seconds if you are just passing the rolled paper and not opening it). Email your video to: submissions@asgardia.space by Saturday, June 13. We will combine your videos and show it during the Unity Day celebration. See you there!

Day three of the 8th sitting of parliament has begun! On the agenda of the day, a continuation of reports from the Committees. summation of voting, review of the event calendar for the remainder of the year, and announcements. It's been an amazing weekend!

Parliament has begun it's second day of the sitting that will run from 10:00-18:00 UTC. Head of Administration to the Head of Nation Lena De Winne will speak about the reformation of government and Supreme Justice Yun Zhao will be involved in the presentation of the Judiciary Act to parliament. Asgardia’s 8th Sitting of Parliament begins today at 20:00 UTC! Chairman of Parliament, Lembit Opik, will formally open the sitting with a few remarks and officially open voting. Quorum for the meeting will be recorded and MPs will approve the agenda for the weekend. The major points of the agenda are: National Currency Act - first reading National Bank Act - first reading Judiciary Act - second reading By-election approval Reports of works plans by the Committees of Parliament We’ll keep the community updated of any major developments in the coming days!
