Saluti a tutti,
Saluti a tutti,

Good day Asgardians!

Greetings,
It was the 12 October 2016 when Dr. Igor Ashurbeyli had the first conference in Paris . . . from that time many things happened and slowly slowly project Asgardia is growing ever more . . . but I still don't understand a thing . . ...
Yes, the announcement was a big deal. It was a perfect news piece to fill that slot between the blood, gore and misery and sport on the nightly news. It was also a nice interest piece in some major publications. It definitely hit the major online news outlets in ...
To be fair, the release of information by Dr. A was covered by quite a few news outlets. That's how I found out about it. Pretty much every outlet that covers technology and space news online has written about it. You can see all the media mentions here: https://asgardia.space/en/page/media ...
Well, if I had to guess, it is because Asgardia has not actually created anything, built anything, or done anything other than make a lot of words on paper.
People passing decrees and posting them online is not newsworthy on anything but the most eclectic news sites ...
Hi everybody, I would like to ask a curiosity that maybe it could seem a useless question but I anyway need to know . . .Since every time I have to write something I often need to use the translator so to can correct some grammatical mistakes, since ...
Hi @Draco

It always happend but only after a certain time. I did'nt look about time of cookie expiration.
Sounds like a versioning bug. Would you try to log out and clear your cookies for *.asgardia.space and log in again? Test posting replies or new topics to see if this happens again.

There is nothing wrong in voting yes/no for joining a "nation" under the laws created by its founder if you agree with them. But the lack of clarity and the silence mean we don't really know what we are voting yes/no for . There is no real plan publish or not even explanations why things are being done the way they are.
Right now, you can vote yes thinking you are joining a nation or accepting a constitution, but what you are doing is putting your name in a list that will be used for something, and you don't know what it is . They really need to open up about their aims and how they intend to accomplish those aims. Half paragraphs about "freedom for all" are not that.
Let me quote your words, as they're the best summary I found, or I was even able to write, here.
I discovered, today and NOT by means of some kind of " Asgardia news ", that:
We're still not officially know what's behind Asgardia: NGO Asgardia, Asgardia AG, GOR Corporation Ltd., Asgardia AG-USA LLC are only names we found scraping the global network. The names of the persons who are working at Asgardia we can find, and not all of them, looking into LinkedIn.
So why such great and important things like " a call for children's artwork " are announced with fanfare, and those unimportant details like new (or even old) companies have no right of even a little row anywhere in the web site?
Why have we to dig by ourselves like they was criminals and we inspectors?
Why is not here an " About us " PAGE which explains all the " building blocks " which composes Asgardia?
Why we've no right to know who , the officials, is making Asgardia going on while, at the same time, they're asking to put our real names into a "thanking document"?
Why have the " peasants ", here, to be held in the dark?
If this is the start , I don't want to think to the continuation...
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie. " (J.R.R.Tolkien)
That's the problem right there.
I could support his constitution even if I don't like the monarchy system, if I thought the whole package was good for me, for the others who join it and for the future in general. The way things are now I couldn't ...

I could support his constitution even if I don't like the monarchy system, if I thought the whole package was good for me, for the others who join it and for the future in general. The way things are now I couldn't support it even if that constitution was perfect.
They keep us in the dark, they don't explain anything. That draft being poorly written was a good thing because it made more people start to think about how all of this is being handled.

Cold logic dictates that only a YES vote will enable you to become a full (L3) Space Citizen. This would include the ( very small ) chance to live on Asgardian territories and Space Arks. An absentee or NO vote, will simply leave your status at L2 - an earth citizen. (Forum access may or may not continue...)
On the face of it all, and as @ bigred et al have pointed out, there are no real teeth in the consequences to the laws and "obligations" as a citizen at this point. So, you can express your dislike of the form of government with a NO vote or abstain your vote. Or, you can click YES / continue on this little "game" and see how it develops. The EULA will eventually come back and remind (bite?) you of a few things you should have thought about.
@ Jason Rainbow has suggested (on facebook) that even after the start, we can all lobby together to change the Constitution from a Monarchy to something more democratic. I admire his optimism. But short of a revolution, changing the form of government is a head-twisting affair. Arduous at best.
