Introduction

Hello to all my fellow Asgardians from District 13. My name is Arsalan Yousuf, 33 years old, and I am a citizen of Pakistan. I live and work in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, so in essence I am representing all Pakistanis as well as all those who are living in the Middle East and speak Urdu and Hindi.

From an educational background, I have a bachelors in Computer Science and Masters in Computer Networks & Security. For the past 10 years I have been working with the world's leading consulting firm Deloitte, where I specialize in the field of Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Resilience.

Statement

As a Resiliency and Business Continuity Professional, my program is to establish a well-organized community educated in emergency response, incident management and crisis management. We, as Asgardians, need to be resilient in the way of our lives as the future may require us to live in the places never imagined, with situations never anticipated.

How Can I Serve Asgardia

Through my experience, I intend to be part of the parliament to focus on the aspects of emergency response, Business Continuity, Crisis Management & Preparedness and Resilience of the nation. This not only means ensuring the sustainability of Asgardia as a Space nation in different scenarios of disasters and crisis, but also creating awareness of emergency preparedness in all Asgardians, helping them in responding to emergencies and disasters in their geographical locations on Earth, assisting them in any operational, legal or reputational issues and ensuring they are provided the right and timely support as an Asgardian.

When elected as a parliamentarian, I intend to establish a workforce that would provide this support and on-going communication with Asgardians in different geographies, and once we establish embassies in different countries, I will ensure that we have offices and teams where Asgardians can report and contact for any help, support, and guidance.
