For a physical nation to take part in todays globalist world, the first priority is to balance a nation's specialist productivity [1], its ability to supply this to other nations that demand it, and to supply it to themselves. Essentially this is the management of the balance of payments. [2]

However, Asgardia's existence piggy backs on existing physical nations that manage their very own balance of payments which is their economic wealth. Since Asgardia is not a physical nation, physical nations have to support the wellbeing of their citizens, including Asgardians.

This piggy backing exists until citizens can physically find their own space to create economic productivity from. The freeloading is obviously only minimal since to survive within a physical nation you have to participate in their economic industries.

So in a nutshell, any productivity from an Asgardian that impedes their physical home nations productivity, takes away economic productivity, and transfers it to Asgardia.


With the above landscape of a nation's wealth, a few questions can leave us to ponder the direction of Asgardia -

1) Can Asgardia create and specialise in economic productivity?
1.1) Who will buy this productivity?

1.2) Who will provide for the education of this economic specialisation?

2) Will Asgardians be paid for their economic productivity?
3) If an Asgardian is a recognised sovereign nationality, how would this impact their local physical nation's foriegn tax income laws?
4) Will double taxation be prevented?
5) Are more than 30% of Asgardians expected to engage in Asgardian economic productivity?
5.1) If it is not expected, then what is the difference between Asgardia being a UN recognised sovereign nation, versus, Asgardia just being an "online member dispersed futurist utopia club"?
