This might be a little unpopular but i always believed that we humans are divided by things such as culture and religion. I'm not entirely against them but i believe that having Asgardia it's own culture would most likely to unify every single Asgardian, avoiding most problems. Of course we still would be able to practice our cultures but having the added effects of the Asgardian culture (Laws, language, decrees) into the way we behave, at least in these places where we are all together such as the forum, or even the satellite if we make it and are suceful.
This is just an opinion on how i see humans could actually be together as one, not having wars due culture or religion, just being unified.
All apart... reading the most of threads it seems we'll have to " change the world " (AKA populate the satellite, which should be sort of space colony, learning a new language, explore and mine asteroids' belt, etc.) tomorrow .

As far as I can see, as now we're still at very first stages after Dr. Ashurbeyli's Space Nation's "kick off", the situation is (ref. @petrv) "there is a company which is leading the process of becoming/building a nation, in the meanwhile we're just guests of a forum, offering our contributes and ideas to the project" (that's, by the way, the reason why AIRC's lawyers , and not "our" ones, will put "our" Constitution together).
Next steps will be to " vote for the Constitution and Unity (etc.) " and to " place a (I bet very little) satellite into some orbit " (kind of "cubesat": 10 cm side, for 1 kg total weight) so to have a " territory " to claim, as a base for asking UN some kind of recognition as a State (which is somewhat different than a Nation ).
Then will hopefully come the Government and (even more hopefully, but it's written into the Constitution's ToC) the Parliament .
This just to summarize next months' things to come.
At that point, correct me if I'm wrong, we should be a " State ", with a territory , a Constitution and citizens (having we passed the " L3 check "): our Government and Parliament may start to write our laws and " guidelines " for the State(Ministries) to work.
And we'll be still here, speaking English as common agreement, all into each ones' countries, and all "virtually" as " asgardians citizens ", still on Earth.
Then, maybe into 10 (or more) years, "Earth-to-space operations" will become cheap enough to start building our very first inhabitated satellite , which will be far from " a colony " in extension: maybe 5-10 crew persons at all (ISS' crew is max 6 persons and the project is costing 100 billion euro (109 billion usd) in 30 years, ESA estimations).
And we'll be speaking english even at that time as we'll be 1st generation asgardians still.
Then, into 20-30 years, maybe, we'll add some " modules " (habitats) so to have permanent population on Asgardia ... at that time (30-40 from now) there will be childs to teach any language will be choosen as official, start developing Asgardia's own culture and so on...
That's why I don't think have much sense to fight , nowadays, for " details ": my only concern, at this point, is to achieve some kind of " asgardian's way " which, in my own and limited view, shouldn't be the same as " Earth's way " as we know. We should " think asgardian ", IMHO, and the language is just a facet of the culture we'll build.
Pretty sure we'll have a lot of time , to learn whichever " asgardian's official language " we're going to choose: no need to hurry. ;-)
Start thinking asgardian , on the other side, is a need even now.
I contacted Unish's admin. They will soon provide YouTube tutorials. Nice! I feel Unish has the potential to become a world's interlanguage. Badly needed, as I think Esperanto is the shit! (Well, that's my opinion, and I entirely agree with it! Care to disagree??)

I'm not a language expert, a glottologist, but I think you're right: a language is more about it's structure, while terms comes and go, as they're current or unused. It seems this is the very base of unish, if I'm not wrong.
