Among the respectable choices made by the Asgardia committee, I frankly do not understand the need of a new calendar . Information Technology already gave enough problems with the Millennium Bug, where old systems were confusing year 2000 with year 1900. I really cannot imagine the huge effort required to implement technology which can parse and transform the new date system with every existing programming language. Even supposing that Asgardia really needed it, as a space nation, its calendar should not be bound to Earth. So, why use 365+1 Earth days in the first place?
