Suggestions have been reviewed, decree has been written, now the lawyers are completing the writing of the constitution. We need a time period for viewing the completed document with AT LEAST 40 days to review. And allow secondary secondary points of critique to specific concerns. Bottom Line: When will we ...

There should be at least 90 days for public commentary followed by a revised proposed constitution with an additional 30 days for public commentary followed by a preliminary non-binding vote followed by another revision or the scheduling of a final vote. But there does not seem to be time for ...

So here's a different theory.. Any citizen can submit a project or business idea to Asgardia.Space and then each citizen can decide if they want to work on that project or business. As of now all business ideas are only being looked at by personnel selected by Dr. A and ...

@ Papineau and Cristian_Mero , You gave a very good idea, but why no body to be involved in this discussion. It stops here.

I think that wherever company is, is good, we going to have something to our favor, we will be a Technological Nation. We could orient ourselves only to technology development and we could sell that technology to another company or country. Obviously, we would need to have our own technology. ...

As it stands now most people live and work in a physical nation on the planet. Those nations have militaries, banks, universities, hospitals, etc. Asgardia will be like none of those. So as an Asgardian living in a "foreign" land, how will these issues effect us? And what can we ...

I agree that eventually Asgardia will have to develop its own educational system and all that it entails, which might heavily rely on the use of the electronic medium. This could also generate employment, as online teachers and tutors would be needed, but also IT people that could create specialized ...

Currently our inter-citizen communication is lacking. Rule 1. Establish command post. 2. Establish communications. As a community of diverse people we need to establish a common language before any official laws are written. Yes still translate (i am horrible with languages). But all new ministers should be using that language. ...

Hello, fellow Asgardians. As user martinellijc pointed out already (thank you), please try to use the official topic to discuss this particular issue, so that Asgardia officials will be able to keep track of one thread only, instead of several. We'll be locking this topic and eventually archive it. Thank ...

By and large, humans are racist, sexist, and most of the other -ists in the spectrum. That is a programmed response to things. We are taught that by visual, audio, and other forms of cues, but the fact of the matter is humans are exclusive to a fault. A quick ...

Would it be possible to start a project where a citizen can visit with Dr. A? Say a lottery system?

In my opinion, should have an yearly asgardia convention, where asgardians gather together and the leaders could address to us. there could have stands for companies and lectures about space, researches, etc..

According to the statement on this site Asgardia will be led by Dr A. And 12 ministers that he elects. Will there be an official notice of who these people are? Will there be a way to contact them directly? Are the 12 ministers responsible for approving the constitution and ...

There was mention of plans for elections in 2017, in Dr. Ashurbeyli’s Nov. 12, 2016 statement. The exact date has not yet been determined but estimated to be in June. https://asgardia.space/chronicles/igor-ashurbeylis-address-to-asgardians

Three post "writing a constitution, part 1" suggests that there should be three branches of government. Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. I think we need a different structure, without the Executive branch.

I saw a comment about having a government without an Executive Branch. Historically speaking, the executive guides the coarse of the nation they preside over. This is done to provide a sense of stability in the government and that is a must for a government and a nation to ...

I believe that we both should have almost an equal vote of an average citizen to anyone in the gov't. There should be a much better, organized way of checks and balances of the gov't, that is powered by the people, for the people, and only the people. We ...

I'm pretty sure that, even in space as on the Earth, people have usually *enough to do* (trivially said "to work") to have the time to stay all day, all minutes behind the government and the things this will have to do. That's why, usually, there is a ***representative democracy***, ...
