Dear Asgardians,

I am Jordan Ballega, 42, a multimedia specialist who is a current National Community Manager in Asgardia. I was been involved in social development in our community and currently owned a small Mobile Apps/ Internet Marketing Business.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you my desire to become a member of the Asgardian Parliament.

I cannot guarantee you that I can deliver what is the ideal plan everyone's desire to achieve, but I do guarantee you that I will be your voice to deliver your heart desire to parliament.

Since day 1 that I have been an Asgardian, I participate in so many discussion until I have created the structure of 4 fundamental Principles. This is where I derived TECHELPS where my platform will stand.

TECHELPS is the acronym for the following principles:

HEALTH - Asgardia Citizens needs to maintain and improve physical and mental health.

EDUCATION - Acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.

LIVELIHOOD - Means of securing the basic necessities -food, water, shelter and clothing.

PEOPLE'S EMPOWERMENT - Empowerment to drive productivity in every community.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT - Meeting human development goals while sustaining Natural resources and ecosystem.

TECHNOLOGY -  Human life depends on Advance technology in space, therefore, technology will drive to maintain and improve all needs of human life and living organism in Asgardia.

Though most of the principles are not yet currently applicable to our current status as Asgardia, It is right for us to start in the right principles. I will be the advocate of TECHELPS in Asgardia starting from advocating an open source Educational system for livelihood of Every Asgardians.

I will create a venue where every Asgardians can discussed with me their ideas. I will be transparent to all my plan thru closed communications with everyone such as live webinar and forum discussions.

I believed this is an ambitious plan, a bumpy road, a new endeavour, but at the end of this, and I assure you, is to serve you guys in a greater and meaningful Asgardia. This is about leading you into Asgardia’s real world and guide our countrymen as we adjust into this paradigm shift. It is about how we can deliver the best we can and the best we have in the world of Asgardia while we carefully observed and preserved each and Everyone's culture and living in a harmonious and peaceful way. Every one of us has a path that we follow, and this is the path where I am leaded to. I hope and pray that you support me in this endeavour.

Nature consist of all living and non-living organism not created by human. This includes all existing elements in space itself.

EARTH AND SPACE

Earth consider as part of nature. Earth can live, heal, evolved and take care of itself without the help of human.

Earth does not need human, rather, human needs earth to live and consumes its resources. With this, human owe its life from nature. But instead of giving back its regards, they continue to harm nature for its gain.

Because human has the ability to destroy ecological balance and other part of the earth, they are a threat to its present condition. This is why rules of law (Justice [III]) is necessary.

Human assigned itself to be in-charged of the earth. Yet, they damages ecosystem wherever and whenever they wish in exchange for the improvement of their living condition. This is the wrong doing and impression of human. All living and non living organism, including everything in space, can survived by itself. Human should respect this reality. In exchanges, They should interact with nature by giving utmost and highest respect it can give, with justifiable reason. This is by following "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (Justice [III]). The law should give the highest punishment it can give to human by disregarding this.

FLORA and FAUNA

Flowers and animals; we can't live without them. The flora of the earth produce the oxygen that is breathed by the fauna and in turn, the fauna exhale the carbon dioxide that the flora need to live. One cannot live without the other, and humans cannot live without either; hence their importance.

Human, in his quest for money and power, has created a world in which the ecological balance of flora and fauna has been destroyed, in many instances causing the extinction of entire species due to destruction of habitat and food sources. Human should stop this cruelty.

Human life is the most important among all four elements but it doesn't means that he should pursue his needs at the expenses of balance of nature. This is why justice always present in the act of human with respect to nature. The balance of nature should be more important than the human food or clothes, education or any human needs (But don't panic, a single fish for a hungry man will not alter ecological balance, go figure :)). Human should refrain making changes in balanced ecosystem, as well as in space, and bring back what damaged they created. This will ensures that the next and coming generations will able to experienced the nature the way they experienced it before.

We should accept that Nature, as the third element, will always comes first before technology and needs of man as a whole.

Justice regulates human action. It always correct, guide and leads human with its interaction to living or non-living entity. That's why we put it as the second element after human life. The 'Justice' element consist of Law and order, unwritten rules/ values, principles, norms, philosophy and others that affect and influence human actions.

Justice serves as shield of nature [IV] and science & technology [V] from negative impact of human action. Likewise, its also serve as the bridge to express human passion and purpose to its environment.

We, as human, should follow a general rules that will level our understanding of our communication with our fellow human as well as nature. A command based on words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount: “All things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.” The Mosaic law contains a parallel commandment: “Whatever is hurtful to you, do not do to any other person.”

Among the earliest appearances in English is Earl Rivers' translation of a saying of Socrates (Dictes and Sayenges of the Philosophirs, 1477): “Do to other as thou wouldst they should do to thee, and do to none other but as thou wouldst be done to.”

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

This phrase as a golden rules, will regulate our understanding that we are a supreme being. By adopting this principle, we are leveling our self depends on what response we expect from fellow human or other living organism. Same for non-living things, we do unto things what would others do unto our things. Constitution should be adopted from this principle.

We respond on a certain entity derived on our experience belief and understanding. For example, we accept that a plate is a vessel to place our food, and we eat in a plate because simply we knew and experience it since childhood, and we act according to values that was shared to us by members of our environment. Values is a non written beliefs or ideals shared by the members of a culture about what is good or bad and desirable or undesirable.

By establishing justice, written or non-written, as a shield and as a bridge for Nature, living and non living, human itself, and for exploiting Science and technology, the balance of peace and harmony on earth and space will be in place.

Asgardian needs to accept and should be expressed in Asgardian law that justice is a must to regulates human action in relation to living and non-living organism, as well as science and technology.

[II] HUMAN - THE FIRST ELEMENT

Human is the only known living creature of its kind. From making fire with stone through building its civilization, it express its distinctive difference from other species. They are capable of creating or destroying every single things on earth, and that's the reason they should be bounded by rules.

Human's ultimate goal is to survive and live the fullness of its time. This is every human task, to ensure that we will continue to exist, otherwise, there is no Asgardia. We have to accept that human life is the most important element in Asgardia. That's why we put this first element into the top and should be the first priority in Asgardian Law.

::The flow of human thinking that convert into action::

Some People are keep on shouting 'freedom'. Let me tell you something, freedom doesn't exist in reality, but liberty. Absolute freedom exist only in human's mind. And that's why we are so dangerous, we can process and plan just by using our mind. Once we turn our thought into action, that's where the result occurs. Sometimes, result are unchangeable and unbreakable and that's the reason rules of law should be in place. And that's vice versa. Because our body are fragile, a rules of law should be in place what our body can endure and accept, either emotional or physical.

Again, we have to accept the weaknesses and strength of human, what it's capable of, and the most important, accept that human and its life is our priority and the center and basis of our law.

I was happy to see that the Asgardia's constitution has it's solid foundation in it's supreme values. It was my desire to see the 4 elements (Human values, Justice, Nature and Science and technology) into our constitution and indeed, I was never dissapointed. I wrote about this 4 fundamental elements in the life of Asgardia way back November, 2016 right in Asgardia General Official Facebook page. It gathers much attentions and opinions that days, and right now, I'm going to post it here for you to read it. I hope you will like it. I will start in introduction in this post.

THE FOUR FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS IN THE LIFE OF ASGARDIA

[I] INTRODUCTION

I would like to discuss the core elements of values of Asgardians with regards to its intra-personal relationship to itself. I believed that we may be able to fulfill our aspirations and goal by assuring that we have the right core of values. This will may serve as signature of being Asgardians, the separation away from other nations in terms of values.

By carrying out and live with this four elements, we may assures that the Asgardians of the next generation will continue to exist. All we have to do is to live with it and decide according to its values whether it is Engineering, Economics, Arts, etc. and I believed we are able to enforce our duty as a peaceful nation protecting the planet earth and space.

The four elements I have mentioned are Human Life, Justice, Nature (this is consist of Earth and cosmos), and Science. How are this four elements relate to each other and how it was organized according to its order has a greater impact to human life, its decision and its environment.
