Once we want to get agreement, get consensus among different group, once we want to allocate limited resource onto several tasks, probably we will have politics. It is not something we choose to, it is naturally something together with the social activity. Right or wrong, good or bad, depends on the people who are in it and who is in lead. The mechanism, institution is the real problem. And the clearer the purpose is, the less bad politic will have the chance to live. One real problem for current countries are more like people are born to be some nationality instead of choosing to be - they probably have different purposes to the country. Education is essential to children. What the "school" teaches is equally important. In the US, most schools do not offer substantial educational information or topics that would benefit the students. Many are not even prepared for college when the graduate high school. I home-school my kids because of this and the great lack of social reform inside of schools. I think that it is up to the people to decide what is going to be taught and what is a huge waste of time.

Because of the diverse and scattered nature of the Asgardian population, perhaps we could have regular online education for our children that can supplement and enhance educational opportunities that are available to them geographically. The curriculum could be in subjects that build knowledge and skills that would be unique or beneficial to Asgardia in the future. That way we could enrich the future Asgardian population and provide Asgardia with the rich resource of Humans with the right education, skills, and Asgardian values. Something like this would be a really valuable thing to help give all the Asgardian children opportunities and something concrete in common with each other no matter what geographical location they reside physically.

Basic literacy is a fundamental human right. The state has a responsibility to guarantee basic literacy of 100% of its people. However, with rights come obligations. All Asgardians must make meaningful attempts to learn. As far as adult Asgardians lacking literacy, I somewhat agree with Aragorn. I think the probability of 100% of Asgardians being literate is 95%.
