In Earthly politics, Bobby Pembleton is currently the United States Transhumanist Foreign Ambassador to Scotland. Although an American citizen, he has recently lived in Ecuador and South Korea, and now permanently resides in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has recently formed the Edinburgh Futurists meet-up group.

Bobby has a keen interest in space exploration, the advancement of artificial intelligence, and promoting constructive discussion of quickly approaching serenely advanced technologies. In order to get to the point that humanity can handle the upcoming changes that it will soon have to cope with, an increased ability to have dialogue, openness, and practicalised thought experiments such as Asgardia must become more commonplace.
