Hello.  My name is John J. Sanders.  I was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama.  I am 41 years old and have been married for six years to my wife, Ashley.  I have two children ages three years and 18 months old.  I hold three degrees in history, criminal justice, and law.  I am in good standing to practice law in Alabama and in several United States Federal courts.  Currently, I work in the State legal office for a major department for the State of Alabama.

In order to reach the Heavens, Asgardia must have a solid foundation on Earth. I will work with my fellow MPs to create this foundation.  I propose:

1) Transparent Government - I will work to create an Asgardian Parliament page for the nation’s website.  All Bills will be listed in their entirety for a period of 48 hours prior to voting.

2) Department of Archives and History – I will propose legislation that will create the Asgardia Department of Archives and History or a similar governmental agency.  The goal of the Archives and History Department will be to document the history of the growth of Asgardia and to house important documents for posterity.

3) Asgardia National Census Act -Asgardia will need to create a national census to enumerate the citizens at regular intervals of time.  I would sponsor a Bill to create a national census every 5 years.

4) National Bank and National Currency - Asgardia needs to develop its own currency based in blockchain technology similar to Bitcoin. I would fully support the government in pursuing the Solar, the Asgardian National Currency.   I would fully support a complete audit system for the National Bank to occur at set intervals.

5) Asgardia National Identification Card Act – The Asgardia National Identification Card Act will set the standards used in the creation of the national I.D.   Also, every citizen will be issued an asgardia.space email account along with their national identification card.
