I will share with you our thoughts on the priority issues that we will have to do about human life, cities, colonies and states that we will start outside the world over the next 5 years.
I anticipate that the phases of this process will be as follows;
1.Preparations, creation of concepts related to extraterrestrial human life.
2.Preparations, technological requirements:
a. Building constructions, necessary materials and machines outside the world.
b. Human health adaptation to extraterrestrial environments.
c. Sustainable (non-worldly) life requirements outside the world
d. Social structure and management of extraterrestrial life
3. Transportation, beginning of settlement.
4. Support for the life of the world from extraterrestrial life, and the topic of human future in extraterrestrial life.
As Asgardia society, I think that what we need to do first is to focus on the issues mentioned in the headings (1) and (2). Human life in a low-orbit Ark will not be suitable for only limited people, and limited opportunities to support sustainable quality of life and independence from world support. The technologies we have today are not enough to survive in an Ark outside the outer system, other than the solar system.
Our goal as Asgardia people is to develop building technology so that a settlement can be achieved on the surface of the moon or Mars for the extraterrestrial - near future. Our goal is to produce building materials with low surface weight chemicals and Mars surface materials. The transfer of low-weight building chemicals from Earth to Mars could be done with economic rockets, which could accelerate Asgardia's space work. These chemicals are mixed with Mars surface materials and the building material to be obtained on site and the machines required to produce the structure are both parallel research and development issues. Both issues should be studied together. These machines are electrical equipment and advanced 3D printers suitable for digging / transporting surface materials. The life on the surface of Mars must be made up of underground cities until it has adequate technological development. These cities will be able to be economically heated with geothermal heat pumps, although not as warm as our Earth, with the principle of benefiting from Mars's core heat. This issue is a research topic on its own.
Another important and priority issue is human health adaptation to extraterrestrial environments. The fact that the atmosphere of Mars is composed of CO

consists of plant species that can produce CO

environment. The effects of gravity-free environments on our heart and muscle system are our priority plans for medical research for healthy, extraterrestrial life. The people of Asgardia should spend their first five years concentrating on research and development programs in these two areas.
