Everyone wants to talk about getting to space. Trust me i have the same goals in mind. However we have to remain realistic. Both with the possibilities and the time frame this will happen.

So here is my input on the future of space occupation. We will Fail.

Really! We are going to fail?

Im not trying to be negative. Just realistic.

Failure is not a bad thing. In fact it is what pushes us to do better. If we do not let Failure get to us we will accomplish great things.

There is a famous qoute. Most should have heard it before.

"I have not failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that wont work." Thomas Edison

If we remember this and hold it true we never will truly fail.

There are several steps it will take to get a base going. several years if not decades.

In my opinion one of the best ways we could accomplish this feat is utilizing Tesla Boring Technology.

This New Boring system will be 100% automated. The machine is planned to be able to dig and lay support all by itself. The current system is digging the tunnel and a separate machine that will lay the support. Doubling the manpower needed.

But why spend so much time digging a settlement opposed to a modular system?

Ok i know it is just a movie. But The Martian starring Matt Damon brought up a serious issue.

One of the Airlocks Malfunctioned Blowing out a piece of the Hab. And to my amazement he fixed it with "Space Duct Tape" I laughed so hard at that by the way. That was the most nerve racking thing about the movie. Just a thin material and duct tape between you and the harsh martian elements.

Having a Base Literally part of the planet, would protect against a vast majority of the elements. It would also Better allow us to insulate and regulate temperatures inside.

Having several Airlock redundancies would protect against total failure and would give time for repairs to be made.

Once a main shaft is built off shoots can be constructed with smaller compartments. This means man power. If you want to colonize space it wont be just sitting at a desk with an augmented reality display.

It will be dirty, and it will be stress full. And i hope all of you out there are ready. I know i am, and if the funding was there. I would be the first to sign up. It will take blood sweat and tears to make our dream a reality.

This is still very far off. I just wanted to give a realistic approach to a topic that id heavily debated straying from what would even be possible.

With the age debate over we must now focus on the future. It is vital that we come together as a nation and make progress. While there still needs to be change regarding the age requirement we must follow the Constitution as it currently stands. When Parliament is in session they can address the issue for future Elections. This isn't discouraging, if anything it is driving me more to be apart of the change we need. We must not be bound to the politics and norms of the past. We must branch out and evolve. Asgardia is revolutionary, its laws should follow suit. We cannot repeat the past. The past has proven inefficient and non functional. It may be a risk to take but with no risks taken how can we expect anything other than the same broken politics that already exist today.

CAMPAIGN MANAGER

The campaign manager oversees all aspects of the campaign including day-to-day operations, the hiring and management of staff. Campaign managers must have excellent organizational skills, be level-headed, have good interpersonal skills

COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR/PRESS SECRETARY

The communications director is in charge of all of the campaign’s interactions with the media. They build relationships with the press, communicate with the media as the key spokesperson, set up interviews and identify media opportunities for the campaign. They may help write and develop campaign literature, draft speeches for the candidate and create copy for the campaign web site. The communications director should have prior experience and contacts with the media, be a good writer and communicator, and be a pro-active thinker and strategist.

POLITICAL DIRECTOR/CONSTITUENCY ORGANIZER

The political director works with specific constituency groups to organize their involvement with the campaign, for example – labor, seniors, educators, veterans, communities of color, new Asgardian, environmentalists, and college students, etc. They help develop a voter contact plan in coordination with the field director for particular communities by building relationships with the existing organizations that represent these communities. This person should have experience working with diverse constituencies and good communication skills

TECHNOLOGY MANAGER This information technology manager coordinates and manages all aspects of the campaign with regard to technology – Web site. This person needs to have a broad knowledge of technology, computers and software and be able to work in a rapid-paced environment.

As for Trolls, Freaks and Nerds.

Trolls - Every large project that gets any sort of attention thats ideals are not fitting with there own will try to cause Choas, Havoc, and unrest within that community. Some trolls are just professional trolls who all they do all day is find the next target.

Freaks - Everyone has the right to their own opinion as they have freedom of speech as well. There ideas and positions might seem outrageous to most, but the simple fact is its there opinion. As long as these opinions and views do not affect the everyday lives of the citizens, harm themselves or others be it physical or mental harm, or create instability withing the Nation. They should be able to speak there view. If someone doesn't agree with it simply move on.

Nerds - This one is tough. Some of the ideas of others do sound unrealistic, unachievable, and out right crazy. Here is the thing, The earth is flat, What is electricity this is outrageous, a glass bulb that lights up from electricity that is impossible, A gas powered vehicle that will never happen or catch on. Sometimes the most ridiculous idea becomes a reality. Something that is impossible today could be possible tomorrow. We can never let peoples ideas or dreams become diminished simply because it does not exist today.

Every Failure we make will be one step closer to Success.

As a candidate i Truly believe this. And will work to the best of my ability to represent the people, no matter there opinion or dream. I cant stress enough that i'm a candidate for the people, not myself.

In short, Yes there is allot or work to do concerning Laws and being taken serious. But as a Nation we ourselves are being serious. And It is a serious matter that you Vote for the person who you feel will best represent you and fight will every ounce of there being to make those changes. I myself Believe i am that Candidate. But that is up to you and the Citizens of Asgardia to determine.

It is an extremely important time to get involved. What we are attempting to create is a new future, a new path for humanity. Will you be apart of that process? Do you want your voices heard, your ideas become reality? I know i do! And that i why i am running for Parliament! My interests in space and a peaceful earth goes way back to my early childhood! It is important to be apart of the beginning of a new government. There are no old politics to fight, there are no real political obstructions to tear down or avoid. This is a new fresh start, a new way of thinking. Everyone is equal in the Asgardian Nation. When we come together as one great things will come about.

I admit, there are allot of companies, small startups, and big thinkers already out there.. Cough Cough i see you Elon, I see you... :D But we are a nation. a group of over 175,000 plus citizens. This is a mass calling for change. A mass calling to think about the future. A mass calling for global research on space occupation. When a lab of 5 scientists work on a project.. They pour there heart in should into that project only in hopes they will have a break through. Sure not all 175,000 of the citizens are astro physicists, or molecular biologists. But this is 175,000 citizens with a voice, with an idea, and with the passion to change the world. Make no mistake this is powerful.

DURING MY STAY I WAS ABLE TO RUN FOR STUDENT OFFICE WHERE I WON THE ELECTIONS AS STUDENT BODY PRESIDENT OF RESIDENCY. I ADMIT MY TIME AT BAKER WAS CUT SHORT, ONE OF MY DEAR FRIENDS BECAME EXTREMELY ILL, I WOULD CONSIDER HER A MOTHER. 1. GLOBAL FREE EDUCATION.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL CITIZENS OF ASGARIDA HAVE ACCESS TO FREE EDUCATION. IF WE ARE TO HAVE OUR DREAMS REALIZED IT STARTS WITH EVERYONE HAVING THE SAME ABILITY AS THE NEXT TO UNLOCK THERE FULL POTENTIAL. I FEEL IN TODAYS SOCIETY ONLY THE PRIVILEGED ARE ABLE TO REACH THAT GOAL.

2. LGBTQ & MINORITY RIGHTS

THIS ONE IS SIMPLE. DO YOU HAVE THE SAME DNA AS THE PERSON NEXT TO YOU. OK COOL, YOU HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AS EVERYONE ELSE. SIMPLE SHORT, STOP THE NONSENSE.. LOOK AT AN XRAY.. DO YOU SEE A DIFFERENCE? NO.

3. CHILDREN'S PROTECTIONS

THE CHILDREN OF THE WORLD ARE TRULY OUR FUTURE. WE NEED TO DEFEND, PROTECT AND TEACH OUR CHILDREN LOVE AND PEACE. THERE IS SO MUCH HATE IN THE WORLD. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE.

4. FOOD & BASIC NEEDS.

EVERYTIME I SEE SOMEONE ON TV STARVING IT TRULY BREAKS MY HEART. IT SEEMS THESE DAYS YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING. WHAT NEXT AIR?

I ENVISION THE FUTURE OF ASGARDIA BEING A PLACE THAT PROVIDES BASIC RESOURCES TO ITS RESIDENTS. NO ONE SHOULD GO WITHOUT A MEAL. PERIOD. LUXERY ITEMS YES OF COURSE THERE WILL BE AN ECONOMY. BUT IF A LITTLE GIRL IS STARVING AND WALKS INTO WALMART AND ASKS FOR A LOAF OF BREAD AND IS TURNED AWAY, HOW DOES THIS HELP?

5. SUSTAINABLE FOOD

There is a Playstation 4 title about to be released under the name DreamsPS4.

Ok hold up, your probably thinking what does a video game have to do with anything related to Designing our future.

Its simple. Dreams PS4 is no ordinary game.

Dreams is a full creative tool, You are able to create anything imaginable in a 3d space. This does not just include 3d modeling. The Robotic powered aquaponics lab i mentioned. You wont just be able to create a static 3d environment and model of your idea. You are given logic tools, these tools will enable to you to animate and configure systems to your specifications. Want to demo how the system would work. Simply animate the robots to perform there duties down the the second. at watch it unfold before your eyes. The concept of dreams is making them a reality. You are able to create your very own full functioning game made with assets you or others create.

Did you catch that? Others. Dreams will be a fully functioning multiplayer title.

Do you and another Asgardian have a great idea and want to collaborate? Not a problem! jump in their dream and get to work! I believe that this title would help us so much in achieving our early conceptional ideas. a PS4 right now is listing for black friday at 199 USD.. I bring up the price for a very good reason. This Game will be able to do what programs like Maya, blender and other programs can do and 10X more. 3d modeling, visual logic coding, make your own music and sounds, and stitch them all together to make your dream a reality. The price point, PS4 compared to a PC capable of doing this very thing will likely cost you 4-6 times the cost of the PS4.

But it gets so much better!

But dude, this is cool but its just on a screen. I want to be able to show off my designs, hold my concepts in my hand.

DreamsPS4 confirmed at a conference about a year ago, that your creations WILL be able to be exported to a 3D printer. Design in PS4 print your dream, make it reality.

Reality... Did you catch that?

Hmmm.. I almost forgot.. Reality. Dreams PS4 Will become VR compatible! This is said to not be available at launch but will be included soon after.

Asgardians.. This will be an amazing opportunity to collaborate and create the very groundwork for our Great Nation! Laying out the very blueprints for our future together.. Land cannot separate us, this Project will help us come together. Debate, Create, And share our DREAMS.

Also don't be fooled by the painterly style of the art and designs.. Its just typically the most preferred style of the devs.. You can make it look as clean cut and futuristic as you can think.

I would like to start my platform off by telling you a little bit about myself.

For the past 12 years since high school i have experienced so much. After i graduated high school i immediately moved to Muskegon Michigan where I attended Baker College of Muskegon, no it wasn't primarily a culinary school, just ironic. During my time there i majored in Business Administration and Restaurant management. See that is where the irony is. During my stay i was able to run for student office where i won the elections as Student Body President Of Residency. I admit my time at Baker was cut short, One of my dear friends became extremely ill, I would consider her a mother.

During my time in Tucson Juggling nursing her back to health and taking care of her daughter i attended Pima community college where i majored in Archaeology. I know miles away from my previous degree. About two years later, i received a call. My sister who is wheelchair bound asked if i would come help her and her family, they were in dire need of help. At this time my good friend had recovered. And again i dropped my personal life and went to the rescue. I know it may seem as though I cannot stick in one place to long. That's not the case. My biggest fault in life, is that my heart is too big. My grandparents raised me to be caring to those who are in need, and i have always held this as my strongest belief. We must help those who are unable to help themselves.

There is a difference between being lazy and being in need. Ever since I moved to Georgia with her I have never left her side. She is family and family and I would never change that choice.

For now that is enough about me. There is so much more i could talk about however we should get to the good stuff..

There are no political parties in my candidacy.

Now i can document ever position i hold on a wide range of issues. However like i said i am here to represent YOU!

Now there are a few things that I focus on and are topics and issues near and dear to my heart.

1. Global free Education.

It is important that all citizens of Asgarida have access to free education. If we are to have our dreams realized it starts with everyone having the same ability as the next to unlock there full potential. I feel in todays society only the privileged are able to reach that goal.

2. LGBTQ & Minority Rights

This one is simple. Do you have the same DNA as the person next to you. Ok Cool, You have the same rights as everyone else. Simple short, stop the nonsense.. look at an xray.. Do you see a difference? No.

3. Children's Protections

The children of the world are truly our future. We need to defend, protect and teach our children love and peace. There is so much hate in the world. This needs to stop. Our children are our future.

4. Food & Basic Needs.

Everytime i see someone on tv starving it truly breaks my heart. It seems these days you have to pay for everything. What next Air?

I envision the future of Asgardia being a place that provides basic resources to its residents. No one should go without a meal. Period. Luxery items yes of course there will be an economy. But If a little girl is starving and walks into Walmart and asks for a loaf of bread and is turned away, how does this help?

5. Sustainable Food

One of my areas of interests is Aquaponics. Aquaponics is a self contained ecosystem where everything has its purpose. I believe this will be one of the main sources of food in the future. I will have a Blog post that will give a more detail explanation so check my blog for updates.
