I am atm. very interested in AI(Artificial Intelligence), how and when will AI surpass Human intelligence. Many people in this area is describing the AGI(Artificial General Intelligence) as an AI as intelligent as a human, without the empathy, this AGI will be available within a few decades. When AGI has been reached ASI(Artificial Super Intelligence) is happening in as short a period of minutes or hours.

When ASI has happened, we as humans will not know or foresee what happens then. It is either extinction or eternal life.

Extinction because we as humans did not build AI with the proper safeguards to save human life.

Eternal life because we have the proper safeguards, and ASI will help us overcome degradation and death by sickness.
