I have always rejected patriotism. Of course, I love the nature of the area in which I live. I understand that my great-grandfathers died for a reason in World War II, that they defended their lands, their families. My country, like almost everyone's else in the world, has excellent cultural and industrial achievements. My nationality has many virtues. But for all that, I am not proud that I am Russian and live in Russia. Something makes me happy, something unbearably sad. But I am not proud or have nothing to be ashamed of. After all, the point is not where I was born, it's what I am personally. And wars for me is a great sorrow for ordinary people, the true reasons for which lie in the personal interests of few powerful people.
I experienced warm feelings for the state for the first time when I met Asgardia. It was not only a conscious decision and a personal choice. I see, like no other, all its virtues and weaknesses. The idea itself is bigger and more significant than me and my life. I'm doing everything I can to help make it happen. I think this is true love, unconditional and sincere. Asgardia is the state that I want to be proud of. I believe that together with like-minded people who are not only waiting for everything ready and are looking for a better life (They will have to wait a while. Come in a year or even five ...) we will build the best that humanity can do. We will invite only the most worthy people to Asgardia, we will support our government, and not accuse of mistakes and throw tomatoes on it. We will be patient, we will fill with positive energy and we will be ready to work in Asgardia, when it will be where to apply our strength. Probably, this feeling in me is patriotism.

Мне всегда был чужд патриотизм. Я, конечно, люблю природу той местности, в которой живу. И понимаю, что мои прадеды не зря погибли во второй мировой войне, что они защищали свои земли, свои семьи. В моей стране, как и во всех на свете, есть прекрасные культурные и индустриальные достижения. Моя национальность имеет немало достоинств. Но при всем при этом я не горжусь тем, что я русская и живу в России. Что-то меня радует, что-то невыносимо огорчает. Но гордиться или стыдиться мне нечем. Ведь дело не в том, где я родилась, а в том, что лично я из себя представляю. И войны для меня – великое горе для простых людей, истинные причины которого кроются в личных интересах сильных мира сего.
Впервые теплые чувства к государству я испытала, когда познакомилась с Асгардией. Это стало не просто осознанным решением и личным выбором. Я вижу, как никто другой, все ее достоинства и слабые места. Сама идея – больше и значительнее, чем я и моя жизнь. Я делаю все, на что способна, чтобы помочь ей состояться. Я думаю, это настоящая любовь, безусловная и искренняя. Асгардия – то государство, которым я хочу гордится. Я верю, что вместе с единомышленниками, которые не только ждут всего готового и лучшей жизни (Тут им придется действительно подождать. Заходите через годик, а то и пять...) построим то лучшее, на что способно человечество. Будем приглашать в Асгардию только самых достойных людей, будем поддерживать наше правительство, а не уличать в ошибках и закидывать помидорами. Будем терпеливы, наполним позитивной энергией и будем готовы трудиться в Асгардии, когда будет куда приложить свои силы. Наверное, это и есть патриотизм.
