FIRST STEPS IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

Time and again, as we come across the reality of everyday life, we ask ourselves the formula for happiness. Troubled by so much dissatisfaction, corruption, violence, abuses from all sides and, having to witness constant atacks on the environment, we renounce to our primary right to seek full state of happiness for the task of having to survive by all means.

What we all have in commom is precisely this desire, inherent to the human being, of to live in peace and full happiness. If we keep this in mind, we will have the unique opportunity to build the ideal society, free of prejudices, divisiness ideologies, social and religious conflicts that persecute us throughout history and so on. We only have to base ourselves on mutual respect, valorization of individual talents and the commom interest of moving to a better future. We need to get rid of preconceived ideas and make a bet on the best each one of us has to offer. Asgardia is a bet on this premisse.

My proposal is to promote high standards of education in the arts and humanities to all citizens and foster scientific and technological research that takes into account the least impact on nature. That can be accomplished right immediately by stablishing partnerships with universities and learning institutions that will provide program scholarships to Asgardian citizens. In this manner, all citizens will have the opportunity to be granted the tools to follow on an area of interest that fits its vocational interests and in return our nation will benefit from a higly skilled and educated population.

This way, we will be taking the first and decisive steps in the right direction, in bulding a society that values the best that mankind has to offer!

Vez ou outra, ao nos deparar com a a realidade do dia a dia, nos perguntamos sobre qual seria a fórmula da felicidade. Se mantivermos isso em mente, teremos a oportunidade única de construir a sociedade ideal, livre de preconceitos, ideologias divisivas, conflitos sociais e religiosos que nos perseguem ao longo da história e assim por diante. Só temos que nos basear no respeito mútuo, na valorização dos talentos individuais e no interesse de avançar para um futuro melhor. Precisamos nos livrar de idéias preconcebidas e fazer uma aposta no melhor que cada um de nós tem para oferecer. Asgardia é uma aposta nesta premissa.

A minha proposta é promover padrões elevados de educação nas artes e humanidades para todos os cidadãos e promover a pesquisa científica e tecnológica que leve em conta o menor impacto sobre a natureza. Isso pode ser realizado imediatamente ao estabelecer parcerias com universidades e instituições de aprendizagem ao redor do mundo, que fornecerão bolsas de estudo e programas de aprendizagem exclusivos para cidadãos asgardianos. Desta forma, todos nossos cidadãos terão a oportunidade de ter acesso 'a alta educação e de poder seguir em uma área de interesse que corresponda a sua vocação e, em troca, nossa nação se beneficiará de uma população altamente qualificada e educada.
