Je suis candidat au poste de sous-ministre aux ministères de la Justice, de l'Information et de la Communication, et de la Citoyenneté.

Ce sera un long chemin à parcourir, mais je suis confiant dans la réalisation de nombreuses choses pour notre pays. Avec les éléments de base d'une nouvelle société entre nos mains, nous devons en profiter pour en faire un système plus efficace et équitable que jamais auparavant. Je crois aux gens qui ont plus d'influence au gouvernement, influence sur nos lois et nos politiques. Je crois également que nos lois et notre système judiciaire devront être régulièrement mis à jour de manière appropriée afin de ne pas être en retard - un problème trop commun dans nos gouvernements de la Terre. Combien de fois entendez-vous, "La loi n'est pas à jour avec la technologie"? We must be one step ahead. Nous devons nous assurer que notre système est sur la bonne voie lorsque de nouvelles technologies entrent en jeu, ce qui nous permet de traiter les nouveaux cas de façon éthique et équitable.

Je veux me battre pour la transparence au sein du gouvernement, afin que chaque décision soit claire pour les gens afin qu'ils puissent réagir de façon constructive dans les cas qu'ils peuvent ou non approuver. Tenir régulièrement des sondages et des pétitions sur plusieurs questions est important pour cette structure, ainsi que les médias officiels qui travaillent non seulement pour informer les gens du gouvernement, mais aussi entre eux et tous Asgardia. Nous devons célébrer l'individu, la voix des Asgardiens dans chaque fibre de notre grande nation. Notre fierté est bien méritée, mais les voix de notre peuple sont les plus claires. Good news, everyone!

I am running for Deputy Minister in the Ministries of Justice, Information and Communication, and Citizenship.

It will be a long road ahead, but I'm confident in achieving much for our nation. With the building blocks of a new society in our hands, we need to take advantage of this and transform it into a more efficient and just system than what we could ever acheive before. I believe in the people having more influence in the government, influence in our laws and policies. I also believe that our judicial laws and system will need to be appropriately updated regularly so as not to lag behind the times-- a problem all too common in our Earthly governments. How often do you hear, "The law isn't caught up with the technology"? We need to be a step ahead. We need to ensure that our system is on the ball when new technologies arrive, allowing us to deal with new cases ethically and fairly.

Turning back to the people, I wish to fight for transparency in government, to make every decision clear to the people so they can react constructively in cases they may or may not approve. Holding regular polls and petition on several issues is important to this structure, along with official media that works to not only inform the people of the government, but of each other and all Asgardia. We need to celebrate the individual, the voice of Asgardians in every fibre of our great nation. Let our pride be well due, but our people's voices the clearest. It is time for action, for passion, for humanity!

It has come to pass that our Mother Earth cries for our aid more than ever. Millions die regularly on our planet due to ignorance, inaction, and selfishness; much of which is easily preventable. We stand idly behind time-consuming politics and governments, law-makers with no real interest in justice and freedoms. I believe in every case being unique in its presentation, in its truth. We should be putting more attention to letting that truth be known and dealt with properly, updating our judicial laws with every passing issue instead of letting it lag behind the times, which is what makes most legal systems ineffective or unjust.

I will be fighting for our laws regarding how our courts will operate for the people, whether it be to assess criminals, fairness of our laws, and the ethics we wish to uphold in our government and laws. Although, I admit openly, my resume may not easily show why I should run for Deputy Minister I can assure the people that I am no stranger to the laws of several different countries, nor the desires of the people for change and justice. We need change, and waiting around is not the answer anymore. Robin S. Sharma once said, "Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion you have for your work, and you have to inspire team-mates and customers." Sometimes it is about getting things done to end the suffering our Earthly rules have created. We need action and passion, yet the ability to assess logically and with humanity.

During my days in university, I had entered up a couple ethics courses that opened my eyes to how little we touch the real issues at hand for fear of being harrassed or assaulted. In a perfect world, no one would be harmed for their personal opinions, but we are far from perfect. I pledge to bring Asgardia closer to the ideal world we all seek, a world where our laws not only benefit, but are appropriately dealt with by all. And how do we acheive a proper setup of ethical and fair laws for our country? Surely, one person alone should not be the one to decide alone. I aim for our social, political, and legal issues to be assessed by the people, rather than a sample of the population. As a parlimentary-- where the people decide how the nation should operate, which by signing the constitution we have agreed to be-- let it be the people that decide how our laws be updated. Let the people become more involved in how we operate our legal systems. If the people are displeased by legislation, let there be a discussion of solutions, not how we should keep it the same. Let the people's opinion matter with our leaders in parliment and courts.

By now, you may be thinking something akin to, "How do you plan to make your claims real?". I've heard from people all around the world, protesting and giving grand speeches with little to no action. I will not be the same. I am not the same. I have a history of acting on my passions, no matter how long they may take. Rome wasn't built in a day, as the saying goes, and I am more than aware of how long it may take to get what the people want through our thick heads. I suggest that we have an open communication between the people and government, a proper channel where interests and concerns are given serious attention. Normally such ways are through social media, or general media, such as television and radio, which are still excellent ways to work together and listen, but we need something more organized and readily available. I am sure there are radio podcasts out there already, but an official station for Asgardia, to stay up to date with our country, government, and citizens, would benefit many, especially translated transcripts for all district languages. Not only would our government-citizen communications be improved, we could feature the latest news about the nation, our citizens, and our resources. What is quite important is the ability to inform the public of ongoing cases and issues in their government so that they may have a say on the matter, allowing a voice in upcoming major decisions. I have learned in life that we as humans often feel the most anger and frustration when we feel we are not heard.

So, my proposal is this: allow me to work in our ministries to give a voice for the people. Allow me to be the person to constantly keep our laws up to date with the times and issues, to serve and protect our nation fairly and justly. We need to help each other, here on Earth. It is time for action, for passion, for humanity!

As many of you know, I have been doing all I can to secure a safe place to call home. Thankfully, my time has been extended, but I cannot get too comfortable still.

For those unfamiliar with my story, as of last December-- 23, 2017-- I was kicked out of my home and forced to live with my grandparents. However, I am not very welcome in that house either, so I am in need of funds to move out soon, before being forced to leave there too. I have made a new GoFundMe campaign in hopes of gaining support for this goal.

The donations I am asking for are going to be used to purchase a small minihome to live in, as shown in the heading image for this campaign, that is worth $15,000 today (04/15/18). Even if I can't pay the whole cost off at once, just being able to call a place of my own home will bring me peace of mind. The other $2,000 will be going to legal fees and lot rental, which stands at approximately $275/month.

I am thankful to have a couple friends who can help me out in little ways, to afford my needed medications, budgetting advice, and be my support system. I work multiple jobs and could pay off the lot rental fee each month and utilities, but otherwise I could never afford to live anywhere without help (not even apartments, which can cost well over $1000/month). I also don't have a car and walk everywhere I need to go, making living outside of cities and in small towns quite difficult to get by in.

If some of you are following me on Twitter ( @ScuroA ), you might be aware of an independent art project I have been working on for a little while now. You would also know that I recently have given an official project title for this piece, "HACH Project" .

I'm actually proud to announce it here in Asgardia as the world in which this story is based in is an Earth that has been united as one humanity for at least one generation, while still expressing the problems and issues we have as individual human beings. I admit that each character is inspired by a different genetic nationality-- meaning there are characters inspired by various races of humans around the world, such as Irish, French, Ethiopian, Chinese, Norwegian, Sudanese, American, Russian, Peruvian, and so on. I wanted to include an enormous variety of characters where every single person is unique and stands out without resorting to crude stereotypes; all living together as one people where issues such as racism and nationalism are minimal (yet still early enough in the world's history that the subjects still come up as relevant).

I'm so excited about this project that I've finally achieved the secret language of HACH-P in my development, thus why you see a font key template posted below. I will gladly share the Font files with anybody that asks with the condition that credit is given where credit is due. Fair, right? I'll also be clarifying here on this post what each symbol means and why there are only 17 characters in the entire alphabet (aside from punctuation), as well as how the language works-- yes, I'm making the secret language not-so-secret to you all. I want to thank calligraphir.com for helping make the font a reality for me.

I will begin here with the characters and how they are pronounced, to the best of my linguistic abilities (if there is enough interest, I may make a Youtube video to help with the pronunciation subject). The language is inspired by the phonetic alphabet of the Japanese and simplifying English sounds for existing words.

LETTER Aaa (Aaah): high tone.

LETTER Eh! (Eeh): middle tone.

LETTER iii (Eeeey): high tone.

LETTER O (Ooh): low tone and whistle.

LETTER U (Uuu/Ooo): middle tone and whistle.

LETTER Pb (Puh!): replaces all P and B sounds.

LETTER Cjh! (Ch!): replaces Ch and J sounds.

LETTER Tdt! (Tt!): replaces T and D sounds.

LETTER F~V~ (Ff!): replaces F and V sounds.

LETTER xKg (Kk!): replaces K, G, Q, and X sounds.

LETTER H~ (Haaah): exhaled tone/replaces H sounds.

LETTER L~ (LLL!): replaces hard L sounds. Best defined as the sound made when the tongue is pulled back in the mouth and pressed against the palate to sound the traditional L tone.

LETTER NnM (Nnn): replaces M and N sounds.

LETTER wR (Rww): replaces R and W sounds, and whistle. Also replaces L sounds that do not need the tongue to enunciate/the "soft" L sound.

LETTER S~z~ (Sss): replaces S and Z sounds.

LETTER Th~ (Thhh): replaces the Th sound.

LETTER Uh~ (Uuuhhh): replaces the Uh sound.

So, as you can see, the characters simplifies existing phonetic sounds and incorporates the tonal whistle into the language. To see it in action, I have prepared a sample text with the HACH-P Language translated to Modern English. Below the image, I will have the direct translation to the Latin Alphabet so you all can see an example of how the words and sentences are created together.

Reminds you a bit of the old LOL Cat memes of old, huh? No worries. It is quite simple to pick up on over time. As stated earlier, the language is heavily influenced by the English language for vocabulary, so it may be tougher for those who do not speak English at all. Hopefully you all have enjoyed this development and will support the project in the future. Finally fully coloured my designs, and signed them to boot. I want to thank my friends who sat through my constant questions for advice on this colourization. I have a terrible penchant for indecisiveness. All in all, I am excited by the future and wish all other contestants a great time.

An update to le others know that my account's profile setup has been corrected. I'm glad to see those bugs have been fixed as I was a little anxious about my profile reading that I spoke Aramaic instead of French (you can imagine how scary it is to be spoken to in a language you don't know because of a technical error). Mind you, my French and Japanese are a bit rusty and basic, but I will do my best to communicate in my secondary languages to the best of my abilities.

I've already shared it on twitter and in the forums, so I might as well share it on my own blog as well. These are my designs for the cryptocurrency of Asgardia. Just being a part of the contest process makes me proud as at least I can have a chance to be in the history books for "what could have been" if I don't win the currency design contest. Making history is an accomplishment in itself.

I'm also proud because this is one of the few designs I've made where I am 100% satisfied with the result. As an artist that is extremely perfectionist and self-critical, this is not only an achievement in history, but an achievement in my self-esteem and skills. Whenever I feel bad about myself, or feel inadequate as a person, I can look at this image of mine and think, "I created that. It is impressive to me. I am not as bad as i think."

I hope everyone in Asgardia can find something about themselves to be proud of, to lift their spirits when they are unsure of themselves and their abilities. If you can't find something, make something. Keep making something until you can look back at all the things you've ever made and say, "I have improved."

As much as it is a dream to be a pioneer in extraterrestial residency, I know for a fact that I could never possibly afford the equipment, training, or even the seat on a ship heading off earth.

I personally don't care if I have to live on bread and water in space for my whole stay there, but the reality is economics runs our species. I'm curious to see how we as a nation will allow equal opportunities to those that aren't as financially successful here on Earth.

I'm also interested in how our government will decide which space-related agencies we will be partnering with. Currently, we have a foot into NASA, but SpaceX has recently offered several cheaper and more efficient technology for space travel. Of course, stepping towards a corporate business versus a governmental sect is always a tricky subject. Only time will tell, I guess.

I guess the first thing to note is that I've gladly added a file to the Asgardia-1 Satellite collection. What makes it a great topic of conversation, however, is why I decided to send a picture of my 20-year-old cat. The short answer is: because she's 20 human years old. That's nearly a century in cat years. The long answer is a tad more enthralling.

Smoky has been with me since a young age, mothered several litters of kitten in her lifetime, and has been with me whenever I needed her (and she would loudly let me know whenever she needed me as well). She is so old, in fact, that she has some levels of dementia and blindness, but she certainly helps to make me feel warm at night when she curls up against the small of my back. She might be useless for mousing, too inactive for playing, and too sharp-clawed for lap-resting, but she is the only constant in my life, and I am grateful for her very being.

I want there to be the beauty in old age in space, a notification of how even the most elderly and deteriorating of existences has an effect on us as humans. We are often seen these days as a people who only care for events of instant gratification. I would like there to be a reminder that there is grace in patience, and a prize in waiting out time.
