I see quite a few posts that appear to me like junk,... posts and threads that became utterly irrelevant, that at least should be archived so people ( probably those that are at least as slightly lazy as me ) Don't get lost in the old static shizzleposts. But at the same time I do see a lot of people trying to reach out more, to get some traction along,... AND THEY GET CENSORED!

Like in this post: I am missing out so much There is a nice reply at least explaining:

This is a lot nicer way to say: "Hey, you shouldn't do this because..."

A dryer way to say it is this one:

OK, OK I get it,... official channels should stay official. But guys, refer to a place where such an official channel exists? Maybe just amend with: Please remove all statements and references to Asgardia? People need places to meet, to talk, to chat,... especially since this is still a virtual nation!

We (or at least I) feel way too often that Asgardia (and especially the Forum) has become a cul-de-sac. Has our young astrocracy (small pun while beint a better political form imho then the current aristocracy but another discussion all together) put itself already above its people, so only they should talk in real time? Get organized? Act?

I for one am wondering especially where all the action is... I have 'friended' quite some MPs that I could find online, just to ask that specific question: " Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is happening? What are you doing, where are you working on? HOW do you form those ideas that the parliament is working on?" They should be the ones to find channels to those who elected them (and might elect them in the future if they are doing a good job representing.)

Well then here is a completely non-Asgardia related Telegram channel where some people (completely coincidential also Asgardians) might just talk about stuff.  This isn't in any way "a group, website or any other form for spreading information about Asgardia." it is just an online place to meet with people who like to discuss ideas. Ideas about space, the world as it is, how it might be, and whatever topic comes up. If there is any idea coming out of there that would have any potential influence Asgardia even as a simple idea that might be a dead end straight away, we will make sure to post it in the forum as well.

And ofcourse all of the forum admins are welcome as well! There is only one rule in this group: Discuss! All and only opinions are welcome (so no SPAM), but defend or oppose them with respect for their respective holders. I will not have any censorship, nor allow any admin to censor anybody. Everybody that wants can become an admin, anyone who is disrespectful should be pointed out on his/her behavior (and if not complying with these simple rules is the only reason someone would get kicked)

Too often I think to myself: "What a great group of dreamers." A beautiful dream has emerged that became an idea that is now known as Asgardia. Yes, very harsh to call Asgardia an idea, if we already have a parliament, a satellite in space, and a whole big ceremony on YouTube and featured in several press outlets. A lot of big leaps have been made, but to what avail? To have as fast as possible a Space Law? How would you enforce such a Space Law unilaterally declared by a nation that is not even recognized officially? Would declaring such laws, that influence already existing nations, not impede the forementionned acknowledgment?
Laws can not be pulled out of one's a... , OK no, let me say sucked out of one's thumb. Check out this interesting article before going too deep in your assumption of influence: who-owns-the-moon? . There are discussions ongoing between legal specialist of nations who have the economical and fysical power to push their influece around. Aside of nations are still those economical powers that are pulling strings in the background. Do you really think all of those focuspoints of power are just going to comply with a law a small group that is supposed to represent a small amount of people (relative speaking compared to the total world population)?

Look it is OK to dream, I even encourage it. There are no bad ideas, nor to big aspirations, but there are ideas that are not thought out well enough and aspirations that cannot be met with success without taking each small step needed.

As a virtual nation, IMHO it is first the task to inspire, show proof of sense, educate to eradicate ignorance based prejudices,... show there is a path that can be taken to unify the people of earth if willing enough. IF we can bring such a spirit alive, a nation will be easier to erect out of the ashes of the misconception we live in now. No we do not have to wage war on other people, or other nations. But we have a mission to fight ignorance and shine a light, which should not be dimmed by the shadows of over aspiring bureaucratic politics,...

Space is a cold place with hot surfaces. As we have Asgardia mainly in the virtual space, there is not a lot of surface exposed to any light and hence it is quite frozen it seems.

Only now I discovered some really interesting petitions at the petitions page

And looking on the historical votes, I am suspecting that there is a decline in interest in those that are there, simply because nobody goes looking for them anymore. 200K citizens and they all seem to be frozen (uninterested/not engaged/or maybe just lost in navigation).

I have posted it before, and I will post it again: Let's get organized in a more informal way, before putting obstacles of administration in our path. Obliging people to jump through admistrative hoops (even with a low threshold) is just making this place Kafkaesque before even being functional.

Anybody that is up for an unofficial think-tank willing to chat more,... I am planning to make an unofficial Telegram group just with that purpose. Any ideas that are deemed interesting can still be posted on Forum, personal Blog, or even made into a petition. There is no non-disclosure agreement or anything, just open discussions.

If another group or even other medium already exists,... all the better. Just tell me where to find it, because I cannot find anything that is offering me what I am looking for.

Quick shoutout to Dirk, who has inspired me to post my brainfarts (accompanied by some random pics I took) here more often ;)   Anyway, here you have the short version:

Official this, official that,... Being a new (dream?)nation is supposed to be a disruptor right?
Well, another disruptor is the trending of decentralisation, mainly by of course the Bitcoin hype. Now since I am not going to make a whole new blockchain, and am not even convinced the Solar and Lunar should be newly developed blockchains off topic and by the way,...

I still am a big fan of decentralization and envisioned in my personal Utopia a political system without politicians (THERE an ICO would be interesting, but not for financial reasons.)  I get it, best way forward is all those official channels and all, but that means a lot of bureaucracy that is slowing us down already now.  So how about any non-official channels. Anybody up  to a non official Telegram group for example? Just throwing around ideas, find some fun projects to work on (non official and no commitments required),...

The world has tried the serious way already way too often, and I am bored out with that approach for one. I need some creative space, preferably with a small 'tribe' where I feel more at home than in any Technocracy where our only way communication seems to be very uni-lateral.

So I am looking forward to find like minded people and any existing unofficial channels (or co-create one? )

Sorry if I am friending you out of the blue. I am just checking if real networking can be done through the forum alone. My process of selecting you: I am a Belgian living in the Czech Republic, that should explain the biggest selection process :)  Secondly: I at least expect people to add a profile pic, even if it is just a masked one.
