I assumed this much and although i didn't mention it i was also making the assumption that this would be a one way trip, no return to earth. But i was mainly curious if the lower gravity, given exercise and other healthy efforts, would be a net benefit on health ...

Lower gravity would only initially relieve stress on the heart.
