Hello and greetings from the UK.

I've just been reading about the asgardia venture for a trans-ethnic, trans-religious multicultural community and hub for the establishment of mankind in the cosmos. I am here In full support and really look forward to getting involved in this community on all fronts of possible.

I am a physics masters and bachelors graduate currently reading for my PhD in soft matter physics at the universities of Leeds, Durham & Edinburgh (All UK) I am a keen amateur drama enthusiast and have a keen passion for learning and knowledge. I am currently learning some basic programming skills as an aside to my PhD and love a good game of squash (first Squash game in asgardia anyone?)

Health and Education are essential parts of a society and I hope they can be approached with deep conscientiousness and without old-world stereotypes. Mental and Physical health, for example, should both be taken into equally careful consideration. Education should also be a top priority, and not just the essential sciences, top languages of Asgardia and culture taught, but also creative arts, self-expression and healthy ways to communicate with others, and yourself.

Together we must stand up to a world filled with citizens who think it's okay to go to war with one another, that it is natural to build borders between one another, to cause rifts where none should exist in the first place. Together, as Asgardians, we can build a nation of equality, a world beyond the physical lands and borders that cause petty quarrels amongst the greedy, the cruel, and the twisted minds of the past. Humanity has a bright future amongst the stars, not the wreckage of a world ravaged by self-destruction. We must both figuratively and literally... rise up. Rise up. Rise up.
What would you say to a talking dog, angry at a dog for having different coloured fur?
What do you tell a child that is poor when they beg you for a chance at survival?
What will they do when the oil runs out, when the gold runs out, when the world runs out of blood to spare?

I am not your normal politician. I hate the way main stream politicians conduct themselves. I am a doer, realist, and fighter. I will leave the large strategic problems to the experts in the Trendsetters and Strategists. What's more important to me are the smaller things we have to bare whilst the bigger problems are being sorted. Let me fight to make your lives more comfortable on Asgardia.

Sometimes the things that really matter to people are the small things, the irks, the 'that gets on my nerves' sort of small things. If these things were taken seriously and dealt with, the bigger problems that can't be solved for years become easier to bare. The small things are what make people happy and what makes life a more comfortable place to be.

Whilst we try to fix the bigger multi-year, massive budget problems let me also make your day a better one.

Let me know your 'small things' that can help you tolerate life's bigger issues and help you smile more. I promise to help make these small differences happen for you.

If we're going to base our democracy on a digital platform surely it would make sense to at least host everything bar the front facing access site in a private cloud which can be properly controlled against general intrusion. Another easy win is access validation- if the Asgardian government becomes recognised as a certifying authority we could issue legally recognised digital signatures to all citizens which would be a massive leap ahead if we do this as a society rather than leaving it to a commercial body to profit from our requirement to be able to prove identity in the noosphere. Anyone got experience working with digital certs?

Whilst I recognise the need for lead representatives and organisations to develop policy and move forward why not be more progressive and use technology at our disposal to make this a true democracy- one citizen one vote and no arcane policy to interfere. Democracy OS have developed some great platforms being used in a few places on earth (including Buenos Aires governance) and ethereum based blockchain would provide an option to start. Or are we going to continue the current model of electing a privileged decision making class using age old processes?

So, one of the main concerns facing Asgardia is actually getting people and cargo into orbit. We can't rely solely on other private spaceflight companies, as that would be too expensive. So, my feeling is that we're going to have to build and launch our own spacecraft.

Luckily, Blue Origin are already manufacturing an engine that will suit our needs perfectly: the BE-4.

Although Blue Origin's main client is the United Launch Alliance, they have said that engine will be commercially available to other companies:

Most rocket engines use kerosene as fuel, but the BE-4 uses methane instead, making it similar to SpaceX's Raptor engines. This is good because we can easily make methane ourselves via the Sabatier process (CO2+H2 = CH4+H2O). We just buy an island out in the middle of a large body of water (providing us with a plentiful supply of hydrogen and oxygen) and build Sabatier, electrolysis and CO2 scrubbing machines on it. This will not only benefit us, but it could help combat climate change as well.

Plus, we could also earn ourselves a little extra capital by launching payloads into orbit for other clients.

I would be happy to participate in future events and contests however I cannot submit anything if it uses my real name. Why because it would then appear on youtube or google. Why, because my name is the only name on the planet. It is so unique anybody can find me. I have one major concern. I cannot change my name due to the certificate. Why is this so important because people can stalk. How can I change my name if it has been already stamped on my certificate? What about people who get married or legally change their name? How can I do this when I must reveal my identity and use my name based on official documentation. In Europe we have the data protection act. In the UK we have the right to be forgotten act. If anybody knows then please let me know. If not then this may be a bug.

When a space station/craft & infrastructure is to be built will it have access for disabled people, maybe research to build a new type of wheelchair that could make life in space easier for people that need one, new lighting type or glasses for people that have sensitivity to light on board craft. New aids for people who have trouble with hearing loss & loss of eyesight.

Can we start something to screw with the flat Earthers. Something new, something we can point to in the future and say "I was there. I helped start that rumour!"

It has to be way out there but sound plausible and backed up with some authentic pseudoscience.
