I had a little inspiration earlier today, during a one hour tram journey to the dentist. Perhaps it had something to do with the music theory book I was reading en route. I created this solo piano version of my song after I got home. It's a midi file (plays on Windows Media Player).

My entry to the contest has the most dislikes of all the entries, yet not a single negative comment has been made. What am I to make of this? I already know that I don't have a good singing voice, but what about the melody or the lyrics? What exactly does 77 negative votes imply?

I agree that clarification would be helpful. Or, should an arbitrary age be defined?** I submit that this age be determined not by biological age, but by an *assessment* to ensure one understands the full breadth of their rights and responsibilities as a Citizen of Asgardia. However, i would suggest that the earliest biological age one could be assessed is after 14 Earth years. From that point onward, would that Citizen be fully beholden to the laws of Asgardia.

After Asgardia is recognized as a nation by UN, an asgardian passport will be issued and it is expected to be visa-free to most of countries in the world. However, some countries may prevent Asgardian citizens to enter them based on their countries of origin. The consular services in this case should facilitate the travelling of Asgardian citizens to any country.

Again, ignore cost to LEO - it's not happening that way, this is something we can clearly both be in agreement over. You'd also want it higher most likely. Just the materials cost, let alone design time and assembly would sincerely suggest such a project could not possibly be entertained until first supermassive resources are obtained - like those littering the solar system. Certainly, it's unlikey to start fabrication tomorrow there's far too much infrastructure that'd need to be in place. Floor lift or stellar harvest. It doesn't hurt none to start working through what would be involved in doing it, however, so when we are better able to do so all the pieces are in place and most if not all problems rectified before anyone actually does anything. Drastically reduces devel costs for such a system. With regards to making mass more reasonable, a simple electical motor with a rotor arm and counterweight. Spin it up and release it at the "right" point in it's arc and you can "throw" things. And actually put them where you'd intend. It'd possibly not have the range of a 18km oversized railgun, but a series of them could be built with the same or similar mass.

Though these things are achievable, I do prefer to keep things at least within a reasonable timeframe away. Building an 18km long railgun in space is pretty far off, with the cost per kg to LEO being around $4k. For cargo transport, you can make the acceleration much higher, and therefor the length(and mass) more reasonable.

I was working on six G with flightsuits for citizens - it's not uncommon for pilots to take more. Six G is still enough - Unsure where the Mars target came from, but it's as good as any I suppose. 18km isn't unfeasible. The thermal dissipation systems for the long term habiational stations will likely be bigger than that, so again, by virtue of being able to provide for our populous providing the materials for such a project will be trivial. You could use a centrafugal launcher, and get a similar effect with a lot less mass I'd wager.

I propose that we behave seriously, without mention of FSMs or crisps. I agree with the use of SI. I think we should discourage the use of non-SI units. Clothing, food, etc. should all be sold primarily in SI units. (However, we should not abridge the freedom to sell them in traditional units.) Exceptions to this rule can be made for those items with "deeply traditional units", for example, beer being sold by the pint. The "deeply traditional units" being established by the ministry or an appropriate delegate thereof for certain classes of goods. In all cases, let the SI equivalent be displayed. (It shall be sufficient to display it once, visibly, on any menu/etc. thus, in a menu listing several beverages and their price per pint, it is sufficient to list the SI value once at the bottom.)

Good day Asgardians, Is anything and everything real? Reality is an unexplain phenomenon where awareness interact with what seams to be commonly perceived unbreakable laws. Mathematics have given us that common ground where we can agree on what should be the logical perceived reality. I've never been good at math but I've always perceived the beauty in it. The sad part of all this is how many concepts can be rational and how this unbreakable laws actually break as we move along in history. The fact that reality means awareness, we can say that reality is different from one mind to the other, we could also say it doesn't really matter as long as you want to believe in it. I've always been amazed by what people call "a crazy person" a person that is not in tune with reality. Dementia is one of the faster growing "diseases", the reason is that lap and space between awareness and that common ground. But ideas are so vast, that you could find yourself in a group of "smarter" persons in an island of "dumber" persons and "go crazy" because you would have to question if what you know is true. The trick is to be flexible and stick to one thing, read as much as you can in multiple languages if possible and never forget that no one has the absolute truth, use the scientific method as much as you can and be humble. Is Space real? Why not? I can do in Photoshop and Cinema 4D everything I've seen from the NASA but I want to believe it, so it is real for me. Just be a good person, love, don't hate. Is space real? How about you find out? I'm sure I'd have littlle issues with crowdsourcing a few class M rockets to tie together - that should get you there? If you're up for it, this could be quite a fun experiment.

Within the context and by the standards of the world we perceive from day to day, yes - space is real. And we can reach it: we have people in space as I write, many more have been there or are training to go there, and plans are being formulated to send more still. We have probes reaching out into the solar system and we are gathering observations of far distant places. Whether or not the entire structure of the reality we perceive can be considered ultimately and objectively 'real' is something we have no way to address. It's a philosophical debate at best.
