I have designed a Flag according to how I understand Asgardia philosophy and aspirations knowing that the world must prepare itself for a new era instead of the constant bickering for natural resources and disregard for the most unfortunate.
At first glance one can see the representation of our Solar System with the 9 known major planets. Earth in the foreground boasting it's atmosphere with the mythic symbol playing as our moon.
The other planets are depicted as orbs of different sizes and colours to remind us that Earth is made up of many nations all with thier own cultures, beliefs, laws and strifes. These orbs are connected by two rails which encircle the Sun. These rails represent the flow of comunication and respect that should and must exist between all nations, "to listen" and "to opinion" are those two rails.
The dark blue background being the great vast of space and that we not forget our humble place in the universe.
I have deliberately placed the lightning like figures pointing upwards, (downward lightning is powerful, threatning, and destructive and in no way thus represents Asgardia).
The bases of the flashes are positioned on and over Earth reminding Asgardians of thier ancestry and cultures which through mileinia have travelled. The flashes bases also tell that Asgardia feet are firmly on the ground.
They also connect the phrase....

"Enlightenment, Knowledge and Wisdom for World Peace. " Written in Latin here but in English too, looks good.

The flashes point upwards for more reasons......

1/.The structured and shaded appearance shows knowledge of geometry, architecture and scientific understanding, all in the benefit of humanity, and with enthusiasm striving onwards.
2/.The flashes also form a triangle above Earth as to protect, again here the mythic symbol now plays an inbound object being "deflected" by Asgardia Technology that would be developed in the decades to come.
3/.The flashes DO NOT exceed the solar disk at any point. This is important. Asgardia investigates, seeks and developes scientific knowledge, also wisdom, respect, dialogue and of course peace. Asgardia philosophy remains within the realm of reality.

The Flag represents Asgardia Philosophy.

Thankyou and good luck to all those who have entered the contest.
