My design is quite simple because that's how I think a nation flag should be. But is rich in meaning and symbolism. The black background represents the Space, our Universe. The white stripe is our galaxy, the Milky Way. The eight yellow stars represent the Sun and the planets in our Solar System (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune). The blue star in the center is the Earth. It's in evidence, but not too much because it shouldn't deliver a message of some sort of egocentrism. The stylized chevron form is a reference to our movement towards the space and the future, like many space agencies around the world use in their insignia.
