A PROPOSAL FOR THE NATIONAL FLAG OF ASGARDIA – THE EXPRESSION OF THE IDEAS WHICH INSPIRED THE DESIGN;
THE BACKGROUND; The background color “Space Blue” is inspired from dominant colors of SPACE illuminated by stars. It symbolizes the HOMELAND of the space nation & the SPACE NATION’s itself.
THE SEED OF LIFE; the seed of life symbolizes the creation of life and the essence of life. The form of the seed of life is inspired from the CREATION & LIFE symbols of ANCIENT CULTURES of the world. The seed of life contains every atom, molecular structure, life form and eventually everything in existence. Therefore, all things existing can be created from the shape of the seed of life. That is the seed for our existence. It transforms our death to continuous living also.
Through this form, “the incarnation of ASGARDIA which carried the essence of life in the world to space" is symbolized. In this context, this form with a white circle around it constitutes the envelope “NOOSPHERE”, creating a mirror of improved humanity in space. Hereby, the eternal dream of humankind the expansion into the Universe from the world has been realized also.
THE PEACE PIGEONS - HANDS; The united form of peace pigeons & hands symbolize PEACE, PROTECTION & FREEDOM. Peace pigeons carry PEACE messages to entire the universe. Hands surrounding all-around of it protect ASGARDIA which has incarnated in space & the essence of life carrying by ASGARDIA against all threats that may come from anywhere. Simultaneously, the pigeons flap their wings towards unlimited FREEDOM.
THE SYMBOLISM OF THE COLORS;
Space Blue (Illuminated by stars); powerfulness, reliability, knowledgeability, cleanliness
White; intelligence, wisdom, dovishness, neutrality, modesty, tranquility, cleanliness
Golden yellow; radiant, cheerful, invigorating, sunny
It is foreseen that this flag will be used as a hologram in space and in where possible. The forms and colors in the flag are designed accordingly.
As a last word in summary, I would like to express the meaning carried by this flag as mottos;
“LET THE PEACE PROTECT YOU” (As the mutual greetings motto proposal of Asgardians)
“LET THE PEACE PROTECT THE UNIVERSE” (As the ASGARDIA's national motto proposal)
