Space has no resources of food, my petition suggests that we should devise a system of agriculture in space, and every citizen should know how to grow their own food, medicine, etc.
I believe this is indeed a good idea. specially as part of asgardias education system. we can teach ourselves and future generations to come.

In my opinion (at least in the beginning) it would be wise to appoint a group of people that have the skills to grow food. As an asgardian you should be able to make an order to sow the seeds for you.

Also it would be wise to make various growing stations to spread the production in case one of the stations should lose its crops due to fire, frost, plant disease or any other threat.

The idea is good, it is a logical step that the state should take up, in fact it is a whole branch of the economy - agriculture, without which the normal existence of society, in the near future, is impossible.
Is there plan to grow cannabis too? for medical use of course.
If you want to minimise the footprint but grow a large amount of food stuffs I would sugest things lie hydro/aquaponics. Both have been found to be very effective in quite a small space.

Great idea. Especially if we can get to task on genetically modifying said food for better survival rates in hostile growing conditions.
I believe Aeroponics would be the best way.
I believe this is a good idea, however, this goes without saying. A Nation in space will grow its own food in space. Until the station becomes self sustaining, it will need to be constantly resupplied via rockets with food, water, medicine, spare parts and oxygen.

There is research on Agriculture in Zero Gravity. We need to be aware of how this works. Perhaps a commission to look into this?

That way you don't have to over load a room with every plant you want, just the ones you uae most. It adds a sense of community I think.

That's a good idea. Maybe not medicine (I think trying to make medicines by ourselves can cause some bad things, so only people who have knowledge about it should try to make meds.) but we all can try to grow our own foods from now on and exchange our experiences till we are ready. It's already something needed on Earth too. And also we can see how many of us are talented at growing foods or making medicines or any other things.
We'ed be using recycling water technology so adding either Hydroponic or Aquaponic growing stations would work excellently. Plus they would aid the carbon scrubbers to replenish the oxygen supplies. Teaching it to younger citizens would help all as Asgardia grew and thrived. Good plan all around.
