Petition to start Mandatory and Optional training (Training and Development)

To All Asgardians, leadership, Education Minister, and Head of Nation

This petition is in response to the communication breakdown in Asgardia’s rules, regulations, code of ethics, constitution, and anything related to its mission.

Recently, I have been cited twice for not following social media rules on Facebook. At first, I was angered at any implication that I might purposely disobey a rule.  It’s not in my nature to purposely disobey rules at all. After much thought, I asked myself, “What did we do in the military when such things happened?”. Well, we had training.  We trained for every contingency you could think of.  We had training on ethics, rules, regulations, security, job performance, duties, behavior, advancement, worldviews, modern science, current affairs, and a host of other things.

This sharply reduced communication problems caused by ignorance.

I have also seen where Asgardians have complained about a change in pace while believing communication in many areas seems to be breaking down.  Tempers seem to increase, while information seems to be slow or miscommunicated between one source or the other.

There is also a host of volunteer positions that require critical thinking skills that some may not be as prepared for as they had hoped.  Training everyone to a set way of doing things, stops communication problems, enhances moral, eliminates human error, and allows the process to run more smoothly.

Well, I believe I found a solution to the problem, or at least a solution that will help relieve the stress imposed on moderators, leadership, and all Asgardians.

Solution: Mandatory Training and Optional Training

Mandatory Training could be as follows:

1. Constitutional training

2. Code of Ethics training

3. Security training

4. Social Media training

5. Code of conduct training

6. Administrative processes training

7. Regulatory training

(titles and subject matter could and should be properly suited for specific subject matter related to Asgardia)

Optional Training could be some or all of the following

1. Space exploration

2. Weightless in Space

3. Space technology

4. Asgardia’s vision, (past, present, and future)

5. Ministry training

6. Diplomacy training

7. Space travel preparedness training

8. Moderator training

(or any other training deemed necessary)

All the above trainings, would definitely prepare Asgardians for the goal of living in space.  Many of us don’t know the facts about space.  We all have perceived ideas, but training us to the true nature of space would work towards preparing us for that destiny.

When I first entered the military, I knew little about being a soldier, working on tanks, or basic survival.  However, I went through tons of training. Each level of training was preparing me for the next level of duties while serving.  These trainings kept me informed, knowledgeable, up to date, and allowed me to see the military vision.  They also allowed me to perform in an acceptable manner without being told to do so.

Training is a big step towards improving communication, and allows everyone to be on“ the same sheet of music”, while empowering self-improvement we also create a clearer path to unity.

There could be a page added to cover the training, and an email sent out when someone’s training is due.   At work, we have a menu page that opens first when we log in which is much like Asgardia’s menu page.  However, when something pertains directly to me, it will have a little message icon next to the title.  The same thing also occurs in many other applications.  We could do a similar notification system with Asgardia.

Inmost cases, the training would be an annual requirement.  This would allow Asgardia to implement up to date information from one year to the next.

There should also be a recognition program implemented.  Such as certificates, awards, and such.   Some training could be tailor fitted to specific college courses and credit hours could be awarded as well.

The Minister of Education most likely would be the best candidate to implement the training program, concurrent training, distribution, recognition, and any other aspects related to the program.

Providing a future for all Asgardians will require some sort of training through each phase of our progression.  By having a set training program via internet, we eliminate miscommunication, misinterpretations, and ignorance.  There are many agencies who provide a format for many types of training. Finding the correct material and the right program will take a little effort but I believe the benefits will outweigh the effort by a long shot. Another great benefit is the sense of accomplishment one would receive in completing the training.
