As a Citizen I'm super keen for this however as a IT Engineer my concerns would be of course security and ease of user usage. So instead of the mobile application containing features such as encrypted messaging and banking an alternative is that the mobile application instead only concerns itself with "Citizen" based objectives these could be: Security: Low 1. Access to the constitution, decrees. 2. Asgardia Calendar & News. 3. A community forum access, and why not a "chat" with different channels. 4. Access to the various services of Asgardia (administration, ministries, etc) and petitions. (May need more security). Security: High (Potential) 1. Access to the Asgardia "Online Banking interface" ( I'm pretty sure this could contain a pay wave type of feature for selective devices). 2. Asgardia-1 Satellite information / Location services For more secure features such as Government usage I would heavily suggest a secure custom Linux based OS. In this format data can be more securely stored on Asgardia based servers. Concerning the usage of an "Asgardia OS" government employees would be able to connect in with secure identification pass codes on a number of devices ranging from Netbooks to full scale devices. I think only when we have secure systems like these setup can we start to make applications and physical devices for Asgardia citizens.
