Bir Tawil is a land strip between Egypt and Sudan with terra nullius status as currently not claimed by any recognized government thus if Asgadia claim Bir Tawil, we will have a defined territory on Earth.
Its far from a goal of Asgardia to have any territory on Earth
One thing that makes it hard to be recognized by the UN is the fact that we don't own any sort of land. This would fix that.

It's a pretty useless piece of land, and is currently claimed by a father for his daughter under the guise of "Kingdom of North Sudan" so that his daughter could be a princess. I don't really see any reason to take that away from them, as I don't think ...

I don't really see any reason to take that away from them, as I don't think it'll help Asgardia at all. Better to not claim any land on Earth except through Embassies and potentially actual treaties with nations.
I would have to agree with the others here. Although having a land base is a good idea for a number of reasons, this particular piece of land is far from ideal. As a nation based largely on the promise of improving technological abilities I actually think the idea ...
I would have to agree with the others here. Although having a land base is a good idea for a number of reasons, this particular piece of land is far from ideal. As a nation based largely on the promise of improving technological abilities I actually think the idea mooted elsewhere of creating an ocean based artificial island is probably more workable in the long term than claiming an undesirable piece of land in a politically unstable region.

in pegasus I plan on building an "island" in the international waters, we could use that but it would be leased out to asgardia, it would be a city in the ocean 5 miles wide and rise a few 100 feet above the water line and rest on top ...
in pegasus I plan on building an "island" in the international waters, we could use that but it would be leased out to asgardia, it would be a city in the ocean 5 miles wide and rise a few 100 feet above the water line and rest on top the sea floor, it will be a colossal build but it is a later project for pegasus, once it is done it will be an space port and stopping point for aircraft, shipping and vacationers, and the HQ for pegasus on its way to space habitation. For now I am just focusing on 3D printing and expanding the plan of action to be more detailed, well got to go to bed now.
