DECLINED PETITION
Jun 18, 17 / Leo 01, 01 21:30 UTC
I think we need a level 3 place where Asgardians who have singed the constitution are not bothered by the ones who are against signing the constitution.
No. That is an awful idea. I signed the constitution as well, but those who are against it have the rights to voice their opinions and interact with those who did. This is a democracy, and free exchange must take place to keep it so.
Wow... just wow.

No. Diversity of opinions are the basis of an open society and an open mind. I propose that a rule for civil discourse be enacted. Other wise, no.

I support this petition: it's more than right that we, the non-signers, have our normal space to speak (as we're still "certified users"), without the signers continue to bother us, call us "visitors", etc.: speak into your own "level 3" (or "high level" if you prefer) space. :P ...

Such a segregation seems to be against the principles of the constitution. Especially considering that at present not having signed the constitution does not necessarily mean there is any objection to the principles outlined within it. I am personally in favour of almost everything in the constitution, and where I am not in favour I am prepared to accept the majority rule, but having trained in law I cannot sign to a constitution that contains any areas of such ambiguity as to be rendered nonsensical; in particular I am thinking of Article 35 section 9.
As not having signed may only be an expression of such concerns, and as conversations do not necessarily have to concern the constitution, and as the premise of Asgardia is based upon equality and non persecution, etc, it would seem that the idea of segregated areas is unnecessary, and even undesirable.
Apartheid is not a option there
