First Space Nation invites the most creative Asgardians to pitch their designs and ideas on how the gold medal ‘For Achievements in Space Exploration’ should look.

On this occasion we invite you to share your ideas on how one of the award's elements — the gold medal — should look.

The medal will become a part of the National award, which will go to individual or organization for extraordinary contributions to the advancement of human civilization in space. The award also includes an Asgardian pin and a certificate.

Unity day that happens on the 1st of Asgard (18th of June) every year is significant for all Asgardians. It got its name after the ‘unified voting day’ when Asgardian citizens were called upon to vote on the Constitution and the national symbols. The Constitution went on to pass with an overwhelming majority and the Declaration of Unity was enshrined by the Asgardian people. Unity Day is seen by Asgardians as a time to come together and celebrate in the spirit of the declaration of unity and Asgardia’s slogan “One Humanity, One Unity.” This year is shaping up to be better than ever as the Mayors of Asgardia and candidates that have paid their registration fee are set to take to the stage and rally their followers and host events, gatherings and celebrations across the world. To participate in the contest Mayors must come up with celebration ideas that could range from a cosy café meeting to a car rally. They'll be organising events and rounding up potential Asgardians to participate. During the celebration, the Mayors will arrange for quality videos to be recorded to mark and capture the occasion. All the videos will be published on the website where all followers and residents can vote for the celebration that they thought was the best of the bunch. Selecting the best videos from all the submissions will rest in the hands of the residents and followers. There will be limited Asgardian memorabilia awarded to top participants and the Mayor behind the video that is voted as the top submission will be invited as a guest to attend the first ever Asgardian Scientific and Investment Congress that will be held in ESA’s European Space Operation Center in Darmstadt, Germany, October 14-17, 2019.

At the end of 2016, according to the Gregorian calendar, the creation of a new state was announced - Asgardia. 2017 was year 0001 by the Asgardian calendar, now we're in year 0003. Our community is growing, but many more on Earth have not learned that a new era has begun, where there are no borders, prejudices and the limit of dreams. We want to make both Earth and space more accessible to every asgardian. These are plans for decades. But what has been done over these 2 years, will never be erased from the pages of history. Already our children will be taught – for the first time humanity has truly United in such a historic moment.

I think almost every asgardian dreams of a common language for all people. And it's not English. For those who are not born into an English-speaking family or do not speak English fluently, it is often an offense why English has become a kind of international language. In the case where most of humanity is forced to learn a new language, it seems fair that everyone should learn a new language.
But there is another side of the coin. From my own experience, when a receptionist in an Asian country, for example, is not able to help with an elementary problem, because he does not speak at least a hundred English words, it is discouraging. When you are away from home, English is the great thing that paves the way for something new, the only thing that allows you to communicate and get to know each other better if you meet people from different part of the world.
They say they're working on it in Asgardia. I want to believe that one day all mankind will speak the same language. I can't even imagine how this can be done.

For anyone who wants to be a "citizen of the world", Asgardia is a great solution. We all unite and support this great undertaking. There is no Citizenship in Asgardia now. And it won't appear until signed several agreements with other countries, in other words, while Asgardia unrecognized. Yet today we are closer than ever to being able to move freely throughout the earth.
Сitizenship of Asgardia will be the gateway to a world of progress and development where rigid laws and order cannot change the world for the better.

Ever wondered why pearls are so expensive? Well, I certainly did and here’s what I found out. Pearls are a great example of the simple though irrational principle according to which we humans behave when it comes to prices. When a vendor places an item in the same row with other items of a certain category, we tend to estimate it accordingly.
The moral of all this — sometimes in order to market something one just needs to tell everyone that it’s precious even if the initial costs are very low and the prices are ridiculously high. And place that thing near those with comparable prices. It’s not a silver bullet though but just might work.
The prices are not intrinsic but are just what we people are ready to pay for stuff.
Take that, homo economicus!
