So here is a process I have developed which pulls ideas from consensus based democratic work which will allow for a more open legislative process and more citizen participation. I also pull a little from Dahl’s ideas too.

Why a consensus based process you ask?

Well, a majoritarian based process like we have in the US and most of the rest of the world creates party based politics, divisiveness, grabs for power regardless of cost so they can control the process, and suppression of minority voices. Where the winner takes all for legislation, we all lose. =(

Consensus based democratic governments tend to be more cooperative, tend to eschew parties and party politics, tend to be more representative of the people, as well as respect and take into consideration minority voices due to the consensus based voting - all or nothing. When fine tuned this process may move at a similar rate as a majoritarian based process. A consensus based democratic legislative process will more accurately embody Asgardian ideals of equality and openness.

So, here is a process:

We live in an universe which we can see and touch. But there is also an opposite universe which we can mostly not see or grab. Sometimes there are special events in the universe which make us question if there are also other things in the universe. These events can mostly be understand as anti or dark things. I personally have a problem with these dark naming's, i prefer to name them as anti from something i know, this way i have a connection to our real world and it is not standing loose on itself. I have here a list of wordings i use to describe the goings in the universe, it is part of a bigger map. Don't worry if it is not 100% correct, it is just meant as an example to make the universe understandably in a simple way.

Nature consist of all living and non-living organism not created by human. This includes all existing elements in space itself.

EARTH AND SPACE

Earth consider as part of nature. Earth can live, heal, evolved and take care of itself without the help of human.

Earth does not need human, rather, human needs earth to live and consumes its resources. With this, human owe its life from nature. But instead of giving back its regards, they continue to harm nature for its gain.

Because human has the ability to destroy ecological balance and other part of the earth, they are a threat to its present condition. This is why rules of law (Justice [III]) is necessary.

Human assigned itself to be in-charged of the earth. Yet, they damages ecosystem wherever and whenever they wish in exchange for the improvement of their living condition. This is the wrong doing and impression of human. All living and non living organism, including everything in space, can survived by itself. Human should respect this reality. In exchanges, They should interact with nature by giving utmost and highest respect it can give, with justifiable reason. This is by following "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (Justice [III]). The law should give the highest punishment it can give to human by disregarding this.

FLORA and FAUNA

Flowers and animals; we can't live without them. The flora of the earth produce the oxygen that is breathed by the fauna and in turn, the fauna exhale the carbon dioxide that the flora need to live. One cannot live without the other, and humans cannot live without either; hence their importance.

Human, in his quest for money and power, has created a world in which the ecological balance of flora and fauna has been destroyed, in many instances causing the extinction of entire species due to destruction of habitat and food sources. Human should stop this cruelty.

Human life is the most important among all four elements but it doesn't means that he should pursue his needs at the expenses of balance of nature. This is why justice always present in the act of human with respect to nature. The balance of nature should be more important than the human food or clothes, education or any human needs (But don't panic, a single fish for a hungry man will not alter ecological balance, go figure :)). Human should refrain making changes in balanced ecosystem, as well as in space, and bring back what damaged they created. This will ensures that the next and coming generations will able to experienced the nature the way they experienced it before.

We should accept that Nature, as the third element, will always comes first before technology and needs of man as a whole.

We've just reached another milestone, with 250,000 people registering to become part of Asgardia, its mission and its future. The leading countries of origin are, respectively, Turkey, China, the United States, Brazil and Italy.

Almost 60,000 people have already ratified the Constitution, which allows them to proceed to uploading a file to Asgardia-1 and sending it to space, where it will stay forever.

Asgardia made a jump to 178 ^th place in population size among the world’s countries, from 180 ^th place just yesterday. It now closely follows Iceland, Belize and the Maldives.

To date, there are some 287,000 Asgardians, and almost 100,000 of them have accepted the Constitution, becoming citizens. With voting closing exactly at 100,000, there is still an opportunity to become a citizen of Asgardia, the first-ever space nation.

Asgardia Scientia Series Research Report 1 - Life Support Systems for Outer Space and Extreme Environments

As part of Asgardia (Space Kingdom’s) continued perseverance to establish a “Space Nation” and create “equal opportunities in space for all Asgardians” on Earth, this report will be one issue of more to come, made for contribution to the central knowledge of Asgardia and its citizens based on the disciplines and areas relating to: Space (astronomy), Political sciences, Technologies, Innovation, Business, Law, and Design.

This article will be focusing on Life Support Systems or, as space companies call them, environmental control and life support systems (ECLSS).

NOTE : Civic Asgardia was not involved in the creation of this research report. This is my personal contribution piece to Asgardia as a citizen, and part of my initiative to provide free educational research for Asgardians.

Analysis: The use of life support systems are  aplenty, from space activities to disaster relief and humanitarian missions.  The existing technologies and concepts we have are EFFICIENT, but can be  innovated to better assist humans in the future. Innovation of ECLSS is The  first step towards achieving space living for humanity.

With the Physical Sitting due to take place in Tallinn just days away on 23-25 NOV, Parliament is all systems go for this groundbreaking event. Much of Parliament this week has been preparing for the Physical Sitting. As well as the huge logistical undertakings that need to be completed to move over 150 people from all over the world to one single place, there are also agendas that need to be finalised, draw laws that need to be completed and presentations that need to be prepared. Both the Government and Parliament will be attending the Sitting which is starting to shape up to become somewhat of a summit on Asgardia’s future economy with several interesting pieces of legislation on the table that would allow Asgardian Residents to start launching their own businesses in Asgardia. The sitting will have full digital capabilities to ensure that elected officials that are unable to attend physically will still be able to attend. Live interpretation will also be provided by highly skilled interpreters to further ensure that there are high levels of participation from members. Asgardia will be using its new and improved voting system that was launched earlier in the year - the system has multiple backups, DDoS protection and redundancies to ensure that the vote is both stable and secure for these important democratic moments in our journey. During Asgardia’s time in Tallin, officials have also been reaching out to the Government of Estonia to see what opportunities might be there to spend some time with their officials and it is expected that a meeting will be held to get a showcase of Estonia’s world-class e-residency capabilities and the potential for other bilateral opportunities may be possible, too. The sitting is starting to attract media attention with press taking an interest in the unique nature of Asgardia’s visit to Tallinn to discuss a future space-minded economic model and it is expected that press may arrive at the sitting in order to interview members of Parliament and other Asgardian officials.
