Given the common goal of health and wellbeing of Asgardian Citizens, I believe it is important to have an official role with respect to the practice of medicine.

Through sharing of best practices and recognizing the unique challenges of physical migration into space, there is a clear opportunity to build this into the mission from the beginning.  We must also work together to safeguard and encourage the health of our Earthly Citizens

While licenses and the practice of medicine is a consideration of the Earth States, concepts such as patient safety, patient autonomy, beneficence, and non-maleficence should follow our species as core principles during this phase of our society.

If selected as a leader, through my current Earth-based roles, I will strive to include Asgardia and it's citizen interests into areas associated with medical practice, especially within the realm of Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Preparedness.

It's back and better than before! The Civic Asgardia team has revived the Newsline and contains a round up of recent Asgardia news and community popular topics to help Asgardians keep up with all things Asgardia!

Como las semillas de una valiosa y nutritiva vegetación queremos que sea Asgardia,  convertirnos en una nación fuerte y comprometida con las necesidades de un mundo en constante cambio; lograrlo es un reto que no se consolidará en poco tiempo, notamos mucha premura y angustia en algunos grupos ante el anuncio de la cuota de ciudadanía, en muchos sentidos yo misma intente contemplar alternativas para evitarla en el pasado, al pasar del tiempo entendí su razón de ser y por eso escribo hoy para ustedes.

Los antiguos pioneros del planeta caminaron en busca de tierras cultivables y se enfrentaron a grupos hostiles, a clima que no conocían, finalmente lograron su objetivo: establecerse en un lugar donde ya tenían oxigeno, vegetación, animales para la caza y todo lo que un humano puede adquirir con un poco de esfuerzo.

Ahora bien nosotros vamos de pioneros a un terreno al que no llegaremos caminando o atravesando el mar, el esfuerzo asgardiano va más lejos y se valdrá de la inteligencia de los más aptos, de la fuerza de los más dotados y de un tejido social que se está construyendo; entendamos en que sitio de la pirámide de Maslow nos encontramos y generemos a partir de ahí ese tejido que nos fortalecerá con el paso del tiempo.

¿Qué aportas a tu nación, cómo lo haces, acaso te organizas para ir en contra de lo que no conoces, das ideas a favor de una cultura preventiva, en lugar de reactiva, le concedes a los demás el privilegio de la palabra?

Bien, casi todos los humanos lo hacemos o intentamos hacerlo al compartir espacios el detalle diferente en nuestra nación es que ella no está en ninguno de los territorios de la tierra, por muy hostil que te parezca tu hábitat actual, Asgardia supera lo que tu podrías estar viviendo en el planeta que te da oxigeno, animales, y que permite que tus semillas germinen en el suelo que cultivas.

Espero que esto los haga reflexionar y entender que las proyecciones a futuro necesitan menos gente que se queja y más masa critica dispuesta a concederle al espacio la oportunidad de habitarlo.

Let us all get to know each other, atheists. I'll start.

I am a Indian on Earth, a science student and an atheist. From my childhood I was interested in science and ceased being religious when I realized how infinitely less we know about even the existence of Gods such as those we, if I may be allowed to say, blindly and ignorantly worship and even kill people/divide our society over. If provided verifiable and reproducible proof of a God I shall gladly give up atheism. I am interested in astrophysics and strongly support space exploration and interplanetary habitation, and I am hopeful that Asgardia will be, but a first step for future space endeavours.

Congratulations to our community, our citizens, and our leaders. We are now one step closer to our goal, with the launch of our info-filled satellite into Earth's orbit. Thousands of kilometres above us float hundreds of uploaded pictures and texts, filling space with the knowledge and presence of our proud kingdom.

He has worked internationally on this campaign, and has collaborated with Apollo 9 astronaut Rusty Schweickart - and with the Spaceguard organisation, which shares the same concerns as Asgardia regarding the NEO threat.
